I had the first issue that you described and they fixed mine the first try. That was a few months ago and the issue hasn't returned.

The 3 is so much more fun to drive. If you do not need the extra cargo space then go with the 3. You won't be disappointed.

Test drive for sure. I have always wanted a Tesla but could not justify the cost of the Model S. Coming from a big Truck was a bit of a change but a year into ownership I have not regrets. I am looking forward to the Tesla Truck though.
