Thats EPA testing that got bumped up. My 2020 Model 3 AWD said 322 miles on the website when I bought it, it displays 310, but I actually get less than that, so I would take that range with a grain of salt.

I think that was the idea behind scheduled departure. It you have it plugged in, it would not be "wasting battery", but it would be taking power from the wall. I am not sure how long the climate control stays on if you decide not to leave right away. The app connects for me in a second or two...

Scheduled departure should do this already. Its in the charging tab. I know it currently some have a few issues with it, but hopefully it will get better with a software update. You could also set it via the app before getting ready to leave.

Ice cars turn off the compressor because it loads the engine, causing less power. Electric cars do not have that problem. The heat is resistive so turning it low or off is the only way to increase efficiency.

Not that I found. although the I think the rule is just for manufacturers, owners can probably do whatever. Tesla could give different horn sounds and that would be cool.

According to the NHTSA proposal, car manufacturers would be able to pick the sounds the vehicles make from a range of choices, and similar vehicles would have to make the same sounds. So I don't think it will be user changeable.

My insurance company has the same policy, but Tesla told me they would not release the car until I have a policy showing the vin number is insured. It could be a Tesla requirement for Texas.

I had no vin, not hidden. I received a text to schedule delivery, and 30 minutes later I received a call and she said she sees the vin and the car is on the way. 2 days later and still no vin on the account page, but she did email me the vin.

the rate is going to vary. Log into to your tesla account and choose finance from Tesla and it will send you to fill out a credit app. It took 10 minutes to get approved and find out the rate.
