    Supercharger - Rifle, CO

My wife was running errands in Rifle and took some snapshots of the station; actively being worked on today. Could see this being activated in a couple weeks. A little disappointing that the long delay was not due to Magic Dock units or even V4 stalls; along with no pull through for trailers...

    Supercharger - Rifle, CO

I’d be curious to find out after install if this *delay* is the team busy at other installs in the state currently, or if it’s a magic dock installation and the right stalls just haven’t arrived yet.

Supercharger - Moab, UT - N Main St

This is fantastic! I wonder if it'll be live for a week or so, then go down for a couple weeks like the V3 installs sometimes do. But this is fantastic.

    Supercharger - Rifle, CO

Did you hear that?! I’ve been scrounging for news on the service center. It’s suppose to open in Gypsum in a brand new industrial construction.

    Supercharger - Parachute, CO

when this says temporary closure, were all the stalls deactivated or just a few?

Supercharger - Silverthorne, CO - Ruby Ranch Rd

I would love to know. I went back in early May and there was not a single sign of construction at the Kum and Go.

Supercharger - Silverthorne, CO - Ruby Ranch Rd

Depending on your opinion, good (or not good if you were hoping for a complete replacement of the V2's) news on Silverthorne: The city council approved plans for Tesla to develop a second station of 8 V3 stalls at the Kum and Go further down the road. They intend to keep the 12 stalls as they...

    Supercharger - Craig, CO

I tried to make it out to Craig this weekend to check on the progress, however the weather changed my mind. I drive an SR+ and didn't want to sit at a Level 2 for a while if the station wasn't online. I reached out to the Mayor's office to see if they had any indication. Mayor's office...

    7 Seater Pics and Details

I would love to know this too. I’ve got a couple kids and in the winter this would help with limiting the heat for cold cabin complaints haha.

    Minnesota Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

As an SR+ owner, I’d be sweating it. Or those who own an older S with a 60 or 40kw pack might not even consider it.

    Minnesota Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

I really think Tesla under utilizes those urban 72 chargers. They really do hit the spot for those rural areas that people tend to want to spend more time in. I'm thinking of Ely or Grand Marais where that is the destination, not the thru-fare. I'd imagine those are cheaper to set up too.
  13. ColoradoEV

    Supercharger - Silverthorne, CO

I’m assuming it’s a replacement of V2’s for V3 or an entirely new station. They probably have enough charging session data to know its always a packed station.

    Colorado Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

I know this isn’t necessarily Craig specific but is related. Seems Craig will be the only “officially” planned station for the US 40 route in the near future (i.e 1-2 years). At least, according to the newly updated supercharger map on the Tesla website. However, Montrose is not listed online...

    Supercharger - Craig, CO

I would be curious about Dinosaur. CO Energy Department already placed their Chargepoint DCFC station there, to give people access to that national park. Montrose, and now Craig have been built with those DCFC partnerships. It would make sense to join up at Dinosaur. But I can definitely see...

    Supercharger - Craig, CO

Goodness!! I was about to leave for Craig tomorrow to scout out any potential chargers. I was expecting to find either nothing or something in very small stages. These look almost complete!! What the heck! These stealth chargers make it hard to get excited for empty gaps....but I’ll take them...

    Supercharger — Montrose, CO

After power was turned on Friday, we had an impromptu gathering of the Western Colorado Tesla club at the station. We'll be hoping to have a more formal "opening" in January with the club. I'll also be checking out Craig this week to see if there is any movement that direction with chargers.

    Supercharger — Montrose, CO

For sure this is a great way to get to Moab!!
  19. ColoradoEV

    Supercharger - Silverthorne, CO

Any updates on these four new installations? I’ll be charging Saturday in the AM on my way to DIA. If anyone doesn’t have any updates before then, I’ll send a photo on the forum.
  20. ColoradoEV

    Supercharger - Silverthorne, CO

At the very least, 2 or so of those urban chargers that are at the 72kw rate. Anything to be helpful during those cold winter nights with the elevation gains.
  21. ColoradoEV

    Supercharger — Montrose, CO

I agree, Craig would be so helpful in getting up to WY or on the roundabout to Steamboat. As a Roaring Fork Valley resident, having access to areas north would be great!

I’m glad it’s finally on the board. Yes, the comments are of course, indicative of many of our rural communities’ knowledge of EV’s in general, along with their need to support oil and gas. This will be helpful for my SR+ to get to Durango and back from Glenwood. I usually take McClure down...

Not sure how many others are SR+ owners, but Idaho Springs is incredibly helpful as a west slope resident. If I leave my house at 100%, I can make it to Denver with enough charge to putz around. I can skip Silverthorne entirely and get a good charge in Idaho Springs to stay in Denver without...

No change as of Monday, April 13. I arrived in Heyburn with 22% and plugged in at the Fairview tesla charger to get a small bump to make it to Twin Falls. Trip computer was saying 3% arrival and that was too close for comfort with the high west wind.

I don’t have a photo for this, but the highest charge rate I received was 130kw in Idaho Springs. I was able to pull 141kw from a V2 in Limon. I’m wondering if it was a mix of cold and no preconditioning that I wasn’t able to pull a higher rate of charge. The station still isn’t on the system...

    Supercharger - Idaho Springs, CO

Returning from our trip, yes they were. However, several MX drivers, no fault of their own due to the snow covered lot, double parked in the dark so one or two stalls were unused yet unreachable.
