you do realize that the credit is a non-refundable credit right, meaning that you won't get cash out of the IRS for that nor any credit if your tax liability is zero or under?

An electronics screwdriver kit did the job for me with no issues; I think it's hard to ask them to do that prior otherwise they would have to color label cables and it's prone to errors by the installer as well depending on knowledge/skils.

For me it was very important to have the status of the trunk on the screen so if you find a way to make that happen in v2 then yes I think it's an easier installation than v3.
