    AP1 ONLY Please -- life after 2018.50.6

I just received the notification and did the update to 2022. There are very thin update notes--Several screens worth, but not worth copying. I haven't driven Tessie since the update, so can't comment on the blended regen. I've been getting low tire warnings, so I took care of that, too. 'Sure...

Warranty Adjustment Program – Touchscreen Component email - Wow - watch for it

My current Model S MCU was replaced on 4/6/20. When I asked Tesla for a copy of my invoice (which was no longer available on the app or the website) to apply for the recall reimbursement I was told the MCU, not the daughterboard, was the problem. After two visits from Tesla Rangers to determine...

How bad are Falcon Wing doors?

My only experience is with a loaner Model X. (It looked like a Christmas tree as it came down my dirt driveway on a flatbed in the on a dark and rainy night.) What I learned: I wasn't able to open the doors the falcon-wing doors in my garage. 'Just didn't have enough clearance. I loved the idea...

North Central Washington high amperage L2 Charging Project

Thanks for your years of hard work, Randy and Jack. From that wonderful Tesla Winery Tour in Chelan fundraiser in the early days to today. You started when the only Tesla Superchargers in Washington State were south of Olympia in Centralia. You have so much to be proud of and we're very...

Sun Country Highway Advances in Washington State!

Great news! That Wild Birds Unlimited is not the one in Gig Harbor, though. It is in Gardiner, between Sequim Bay and Discovery Bay. Not in Gig Harbor. I'd love to do a road trip to check them out. And I'm still trying to promote charging near the mouth of the Columbia River in Washington...

    Textile or leather?

I have had the textile seats for more than two years now and am completely happy with them. To help two couples decide which they wanted to order, I was asked by a local Tesla employee to come to the Seattle Tesla Store so my seats could be seen and tried on in person. I'm confident they'd make...

Somebody else has my same license plate in the same state

Now you have me worried! I just found out that 'Tessie' is available again and have requested it. Maybe it would bring more headaches than joy. Good luck. It is amazing that the licensing department can't track down the offending car's driver! Kit

Sun Country Highway Advances in Washington State!

I'm delighted with your progress on our behalf. I have another location for your consideration: Ilwaco, at the mouth of the Columbia. I should have thought of Sun Country right off, but my mind and body are on vacation. Here's what I posted tonight on teslamotors.com: Friends and I have rented...

Anyone use the Centralia Burgerville charger recently?

This is the last contact I had with the Model S-to-Roadster charger cable, last August on my way to the Jack Anderson's EV Wine Tour fundraiser in Chelan I am the one described as in a chargeless panic. I wouldn't have put it that way--I was just trying to find the cable that Seattle Tesla...

Did you have a front license plate installed in WA?

Was I ever in the minority at the Tesla gathering at the LeMay car museum Saturday. Mine was the only Model S out of 8 parked together out front that had a front plate. Tessie stood out like a sore thumb. There were 8 Roadsters--I believe they all had front plates.

SB 6272 and HB 2524 to prevent new Tesla stores in Washigton state?

@linred. I was the other Tesla owner who couldn't keep quiet. After I talked with my Rep.'s Admin, I chatted with Mr. Habib's Admin. What I'd overheard was so wrong, I was incredulous. I explained what I believe the bill says and what I thought was wrong. He seemed kind of taken aback. (No, I'm...

    Tacoma lunch meetup

I'm interested. I think it would be worth posting on the NTOC Googles group and Washington area of the Tesla Motors forum too, at least to start. I'd been away from this forum for a couple of weeks.

    Cloth or Leather seats

I have the black textile seats and like them a lot. It would be nice if they had heaters, but heaters were added after my car was produced. Tessie has almost 9000 miles and is 11 mo. old. I have no regrets. They don't feel cold in cold weather and are more interesting looking in person than...

To Boldly Go Where No EV Has Gone Before

Great trip report! It was fun to meet you and Maggie in Ellensburg Friday. You're giving me more travel ideas, even with my 60kWh pack. And it will only get easier!

NW Owners' Monthly MeetUp - August 25th, 2013

How many Teslas made it? Were there lots of prospective buyers? We were sailing on Lake Chelan as part of the deal to get a condo free for two nights. (And with a 60 kWh pack and rotten traffic on I-90, I was barely home before midnight.) I was really sorry to miss it.

North Central Washington high amperage L2 Charging Project

I agree--it was a delightful event, we were very visible and got lot a lot of attention, and we owe Jack many thanks for the whole organization. Thanks for the top up, too, Jack. My carfull did our best to support the local winery economy, as well as the L2 project.

Call for donations for Port Angeles High-Powered Charger

Great project, buzzbuzz. And thanks for sticking your neck out to speed the installation. Do let us know how much more is needed. How about posting to the Washington strand on the TeslaMotors.com forum to catch people who don't get here? I'll add my myself to the last list I saw and put a check...

Spring 2013 Get Together in the Bellevue-Seattle-Redmond-Issaquah-Kirkland Area

Get together a great success! It was a delightful event. I did learn a lot. And I got to know delightful other Gig Harbor people, since they brought me while Tessie was sulking and hiding her touchscreen (and defrost and jack) from me. (Hard reset and she was good to go after a ride to the...

Side mirror reverse tilt with textile interior?

I have the auto-tilt rear view mirrors. Don't know whether the fact that I have the Tech Package makes the difference or not. I have the textile interior and am very happy with it. There is no user profile memory--That goes with leather.
