I was actually pretty shocked. They called me last Thursday and said my car was in Albuquerque and would arrive by Saturday with delivery Tuesday - Thursday. I updated my insurance ASAP. L Tonight they called me and said they were practically done with inspection and it’ll be ready for pickup...

Just got a delivery email from Richard in Nevada while I was in the air. On mobile only so didn’t check source code yet but as of the email he said I didn’t have a car assigned yet. edit: for people who got emails before VINs and delivery texts... how long did y’all have to wait for the latter?

I’m hoping that’s the case with producing cars and they’re just behind in assigning VINs. I’ve read that during last quarter’s push , people had almost no notice between VIN and delivery date.

Sounds like we just got a recent november M3P with black interior VIN in Michigan. Should be the last of the november blacks coming up tonight or tomorrow and then west coast... just a guess

Yes! Exactly. The only work I'll have to do on my car is drive it to XPEL and get it fully stealth wrapped & storm-troopered.

I thought about doing the same but I love all those extra additions that really make a performance pop. Those red calipers & grey wheels, spoiler... all things i'd eventually add to my car anyway, not to mention springs.

Black looks better than I thought but I love the way the wheels pop with white!

I honestly think the west coast VIN assignments will be later than the east/central folks, just based off of what's been reported in this thread

SO EXCITED FOR YOU GUYS! i can feel the excitement in the text! haha. It looks like most of the east coast / central people are starting to get VINs, especially those who ordered in late september and october. I have a feeling it'll be early orders East Coast/Central > Late orders east...

I I had a manual M2 and loved it when I got to open her up... but every drive home after work was bumper to bumper traffic for 20-30 mins and it was torture, especially after a really long day at work. I'll miss the sound but the P3D is a pretty much the perfect daily driver.

I had a BMW m2 with PS4S and they were great. I'm happy that Tesla decided to go with these tires. If i were to get 19" wheels in the future (if i have to deal with cracking/broken 20" rims) I'd still stick with PS4S. They are incredibly grippy in turns and was fine in the rain.

Can’t decide between FSD or not, I’ve already changed my order three times since 11/7... hope it doesn’t affect my delivery too much since (as far as I know) it’s just a software download. We should all get HW3. did you guys order FSD? Assuming the $7000 financed in 6 years isn’t a huge...
