    Why get larger wheels?

Generally the larger the wheel the smaller and stiffer the tire sidewall which can equate to less flex and better handling. A wider wheel will allow wider tires that offer a better contact patch.

    Why get larger wheels?

Besides looks, larger wheels can also offer better performance/handling. Like everything though, there are tradeoffs like ride comfort, noise, weight, etc.

Tesla Model 3 Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler

I imported it from China. I have a friend in the import business. I hired a third party quality inspector to check the parts before they shipped. Since then, I’ve seen these pop up on eBay and Chinese sites like Ali Express for much less than I paid but I’m not sure if they’re the same. You...

Tesla Model 3 Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler

I’m sorry, I forgot about this thread. The spoiler has been sold through eBay. It was a no name brand spoiler that adhered with 3M VHB tape, no drilling required. It is similar to the Vorsteiner Volta wing. No, this was an aftermarket spoiler.

    Pictures of your Rear Tint

Steaming the window to remove the tint won’t damage the defroster even if it’s done multiple times. That’s the proper way to do it. As long as they are steaming and not scraping you will be fine.

Has red color changed over the years?

The light really impacts the color. Some days it looks bright red and some days it looks more maroon.

Tesla Model 3 Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler

A bump to the top for the weekend crowd. If you need any more pictures of it just let me know. The fitment on this spoiler is excellent and it looks really good in person.

Paint Touch up kits - Tesla kit or others?

I can second Dr Colorchip. I’ve used their kits on several of my cars over the years including my red model 3. It really doesn’t matter which kit. You just need the paint, the blending solution and I would recommend a squeegee for application instead of using a glove. The paint matches...

Tesla Model 3 Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler

I have a gloss carbon fiber rear spoiler for sale that fits all Model 3 vehicles. $350 shipped in the US (lower 48 states) or $300 if picked up locally in either Kings Mountain, NC 28086 or Charlotte, NC 28206. I purchased two of these thinking that I would paint one to match the color of my...

Vendor Official Signature Wheel Gallery | Fitment Q&A Thread

I like the look of these. I'm lowered 2" on MPP coilovers with -1.1 camber all around. I'd like to get these in 20x9 up front and 20x10.5 in the rear. Do you offer those sizes with the SV703? What offsets would you recommend to get me evenly flush front and rear. I will probably run a...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I’m a big fan of concave wheels and think those look really good. The only thing I would worry about would be the concave profile on a smaller width wheel. The car in the picture is wider than a stock 3 so you would most likely end up with more narrow wheels that are not as concave as these...

Vendor Only look if you dare to be different! No regrets! Volta Carbon Fiber Aero Program

I’ve asked that as well with no response. As someone seriously considering this kit I’d just like to know where you have to drill holes in my car so I can make an informed decision of whether or not I want to make a permanent modification. On the rear diffuser it looks like at least two...

Sharing a 40 amp circuit with Oven?

You can still use that circuit to charge. Just set your car to charge in the middle of the night or any other time when you won’t be using the oven. Edit: or just use the app to stop your car from charging anytime you fire up the oven. It doesn’t seem like it would be a big inconvenience.

    Convertible Model 3

I wonder if that was done by Newport Conversions: https://newportconvertible.com/ They’re always the company I think of when i see a new car made into a convertible. They even did a model S a while back.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Beautiful car. I am considering the Vorsteiner kit myself. I tried to send you a message with a couple of questions but I don't think your profile allows me to. If you have a minute would you message me so that I can pick your brain on the Vorsteiner kit?

Model 3 Driver's Door - Help Identify Loose Part

I wanted to follow up on this thread in case anyone else has this issue. The plastic gear is part of the door handle's soft close mechanism. If you look closely at the pictures I posted you can see a red colored oring between the two gears. This oring puts friction between the gears and...

Model 3 Driver's Door - Help Identify Loose Part

Thanks for the reply. It’s possible. I assumed those were just pulleys without gearing for the window. However, Tesla’s exploded parts diagrams don’t seem to break down the parts of the assemblies so it’s hard to tell. I did schedule an appointment at the SC in mid January and will report...

Vendor Official Vorsteiner Wheels | Tesla Model 3

for the parts that require bolts, does it use existing factory locations or do I need to drill into the car? Also, would you PM me a price on the full kit shipped to 28202?

Lowered P3D= on Eibach's, need advice on alignment issues.

It took me a minute to understand that FUCA was front upper control arms. That makes sense, I had previously read that there was no adjustment on the front for camber, it’s good to hear that’s not the case. I have coil overs in order so I haven’t even looked under the car yet. your image...

Model 3 Driver's Door - Help Identify Loose Part

I went to open the driver's door on my 2019 Model 3 and as soon as I pressed the large part of the handle, I heard a part fall internally, inside the door. The door still appears to open and closes fine and the window operates fine. As I drove the car, I could hear the part sliding back and...

Lowered P3D= on Eibach's, need advice on alignment issues.

I’m reading it a little differently. I think the 5.95 and 5.99 are the caster numbers, within spec. It appears to me that the -1.55 and -0.34 are for the front camber settings. I think your front left camber is out of spec and it’s why the diagram is showing the tire leaning in. There isn’t...

Vendor Official Vorsteiner Wheels | Tesla Model 3

Does the Volta kit mount with 3M tape only or does it also require additional hardware to physically mount to the car? If it requires hardware, which pieces do? I’m interested in the kit but can’t find much about how it mounts and how many new holes, if any are required in the car.

The quest for wider wheels and tires, 295, 305 and beyond...

I don’t have much to add at this moment. I just ordered my coil overs for my P3D and I am still looking for wheels and tires but I’ll be following this thread closely. I always like deep concave wheels. The wider the wheel I get, the deeper the concave which is what I lean towards so I’m...

    Real Carbon Fiber Interior

Thanks for the reply. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t overlooking a vendor. I’m with you and know that it wouldn’t be cheap but I would pay to have some quality replacement parts.

    Real Carbon Fiber Interior

Is there a company that offers real carbon fiber replacement parts for all of the the piano black parts of the Model 3? I’ve seen several different companies offering carbon fiber wraps and even ordered one to see what it felt like but the finish is disappointing compared to a real gloss resin...
