FYI PSE&G is proposing to close RLM and replace it with two new RS TOU schedules if you look at their latest rate proposal. For people with solar and no batteries it's probably not going to be a good change - the new proposed peak times are 4pm-9pm so there will be little opportunity to export...

Mobile service completed my retrofit yesterday and it’s such a big improvement over the yoke in day to day driving. The only real downside is that the wheel obscures the speed limit and the indicator for the lights in the instrument cluster - hopefully Tesla will move them in a future update...

I had my annual true-up bill this month and PSE&G paid me $0.0718 for the unused peak credits which is around the cost of off peak electricity - I won't bother trying to use up peak excess next year!

The retrofit is now available to order, I've done it and scheduled mobile service next week to have it fitted.

You need a consumption meter installed so SolarEdge records your consumption - do you have that?

PSE&G don’t allow us to access that data so you need your own. I had my usage data from SolarEdge and pvoutput.org was able to model usage by time of use period - this made me confident enough to change to RLM. In the end it worked out far better than I expected. PSE&G clearly aren’t a fan...

It depends entirely on your usage pattern. My solar only produces 8-8,500kWh a year but I use about 12,000kWh so RLM works great for me. If production matches your usage I can't imagine that it'd work too well for you. My true-up bill was this month and I did have about 300kWh of peak credits...

My 2022 Model S LR does this too...

Tesla changed the half shafts after my last visit and it's definitely improved but I don't think it's gone away completely. I think it might just be that the shape of the yoke amplifies poor road surfaces...

Picked mine up today - the underside of the front bumper is covered in scrapes, there's loads of excess glue around the rear window and one of the trim pieces is damaged. So frustrating! Otherwise the car is wonderful, I just wish Tesla would improve their quality control.

It's really bad. I'm still waiting for a replacement inverter and when I've called to ask for an update the customer service staff are incredibly rude - it's as if you're putting them out by daring to ask when they're planning to fix the system you've paid them tens of thousands of dollars for!

This is a common problem, I've posted in other threads but my 7.6kW SolarEdge inverter failed in July and I'm still waiting for a replacement.

Week 4.5 of no solar, the replacement still hasn't shipped from SolarEdge and they can't even give me an ETA. I'm really annoyed at this point.

My SolarEdge inverter failed 4 weeks ago. Tesla originally told me up to 6 weeks for a replacement, today that has morphed into 8-12 weeks (?!) I have the case number and have been checking with SolarEdge daily but the replacement hasn't shipped - surely Tesla should be putting pressure on them...
