    Sentry mode without flashing lights?

This has bugged me ever since Sentry mode 1st came out years ago. I often park in crowded parking garages in the city, and have captured footage of people becoming annoyed at my car for flashing them for just casually walking by. It's only a matter of time before I piss off the wrong person...

    2021 Performance vibration

I certainly hope its not the wheels. I took It to a tire shop and had the tires rebalanced, as a process of elimination to help diagnose. No change to the vibration. I would hope that the tire shop would notice if it was bent and say something to me when checking the wheel on the balancing...

    2021 Performance vibration

Those look SOOO much better! Thanks for the pics. The stretch fittment of the Pirellis looks just so wrong to me. Maybe Tesla switched to the skinny Pirellis to squeeze out a few more miles out of the battery? Seems hardly worth it to me, especially on the performance model 3.

    2021 Performance vibration

Did that immediately fix the vibration? Did you use the exact same size in the ps4s or did you go a little wider to avoid the stretch fitment? The 20” Uberturbines are 0.5” wider than the old version 20” wheel. Any issues with tire rub with the ps4s? Can you post some close up pics of your...

    2021 Performance vibration

Same for me. I thought I was going crazy!! I traded in my 2019 M3P for a new 2021 M3P and I immediately noticed the difference in the tires driving them back to back. I’ve taken 2 Tesla technicians on test drives and they both don’t notice it. They sent me on my way with an “unable to...

Delivery / Service Issues (panel gaps, delivery delays / issues / Service problems etc)

I picked up another new M3P last weekend. Exact same spec as my previous 2019 M3P. I have the same scratch in the exact same location as my last model 3. Right in the drivers line of sight. Looks like a smudge, but does not come off. Only visible at certain angles / harsh light Has anyone...

    Supercharger - Irvine, CA - Main Street (LIVE 29 Dec 2020, 24 Urban + 16 V3 stalls)

This location has what appears to be urban superchargers (72kW) on the 1st floor, and destination chargers on the 5th floor of the garage. (See close up pic from 5th floor). Has anyone used the 5th floor destination chargers at this location? Does it cost the same as the superchargers on the...

    No longer sleeping after 2021.4.11

So glad it worked for you too. I had mine replaced about a week ago and it’s been working perfectly ever since.

    No longer sleeping after 2021.4.11

I’m glad I could help someone short cut the diagnosis and repair process for this issue. That‘s what this forum is all about!

    No longer sleeping after 2021.4.11

My service rep texted me today to follow up and make sure my issue is 100% fixed. He said he’s taking my old chargeport ECU and plugging it into their test mule car to see if engineering can figure out why it broke. Maybe the fix for others in the future could be a simple software patch...

    No longer sleeping after 2021.4.11

Update: today, (3/26/21) Tesla mobile service came to my house and replaced my charge port ECU. That has fixed my issue. My car is now sleeping while plugged in (not charging). I also updated to 2021.4.12 a few days ago, but the issue still persisted until my chargeport ECU was replaced...

    No longer sleeping after 2021.4.11

Thank you! I will try that too to get me by until this bug is fixed. I don’t like leaving mine unplugged. A happy Tesla is a plugged in Tesla!

    No longer sleeping after 2021.4.11

I’m having the same issue: 2019 M3P built July 2019. After updating to 2021.4.11, it will not stay asleep when plugged in and not charging. I have a service request open and they told me this is a known issue and engineering is investIgating. They told me it would be better to leave it...

    Scheduled Departure - cabin preconditioning

I like scheduled departure. I set it for 7am and it’s charged by sometime around 5:30am, and my climate control activates around 6:45 for a 7am departure. I just lucked out that my time of use electric plan happens to end at 6am (as Tesla has assumed) so 6am works perfect for me. What happens...

    Charging 2 Tesla’s on 100amp main - advice needed

Hi eprosenx Thank you for the info. Greatly appreciated! This is a townhouse and the panel in the garage is a sub-panel. The 100amp main breaker is outside with the main breakers 4 other attached units - see pic Yes we do run the AC overnight in the summer mainly because at super off peak...

    Charging 2 Tesla’s on 100amp main - advice needed

Also Dave, To clarify, my goal is to put the lightest load (wear & tear) possible on my electrical panel, while still getting our charging done within the 6 hour “super off peak” window for both cars. 32amps charge speed is more than enough to cover the daily use of both our cars. I don’t...

    Charging 2 Tesla’s on 100amp main - advice needed

Thanks Dave! We had an electrician install the 1st one 6 months ago when I got the model 3, and at the time he said if I got a 2nd Tesla he could come back and install a 2nd 50amp later in the last available open slot in the panel. He told me the panel would be able to handle it. After I saw...

    Charging 2 Tesla’s on 100amp main - advice needed

We have a model 3 performance and a new model S performance on the way very soon. I am on a time of use rate plan with my cheapest rates only from 12am to 6am daily. That leaves us with only 6 hours to charge 2 Tesla’s overnight. We have installed 2 separate dedicated 50amp circuits (one...
