Shopping for a new Electric car. Former Eniro / Model 3 owner.

I am on the Tesla website now looking at a model Y long range. Up front I did not have a very good model 3 experience with a car full of production / failure issues. I did however like the style and charging infrastructure. But now that I have a second chance to buy and at 6 foot 4 I was on the...

    Vehicle to Load coming?

Competitors offer this feature already and as I am looking for an EV right now as things open up the thought of going camping and powering it with the car appeals to me. I wondered if there are any hints of this with the 3?

Tesla needs one of these at each factory to offset its CO2 footprint

One of these at each factory and you are clean as 40 million trees each BOOM! + sell by products. + jobs created.

So what do you guys think of FSD Beta?

Seems to bring a few of the current clips together. Imo from observing this it looks like the car is now capable of much better situational prediction. It knows before turning off the roundabout in the dark what a lane of parked cars is and takes the left not in a rushed manor. I guess time...

Should recirculate be renamed to range boost mode? (Winter Tip)

For all pre heat pumpers out there coming into winter time. Press the recirculate (range boost) button for a % range boost on longer trips! I am not sure it gets simpler than that but it seemed to work looking at winter travel figures on SR+.

Are ICE cars regarding CO2 footprint fair EV comparisons?

You see there I am researching into various new battery technologies and roll onto the total CO2 count for the production of a Tesla. Now this is where I am not sure the public are being told the correct information about ICE cars. You see an ICE car has a certain CO2 output when you drive it...

Model 3 Customer cannon fodder & the right to full refund Dekra Report

Its been a rather frustrating time owning a model 3. It was meant to be part of an enjoyable YouTube series which ended in me personally not wanting to poster something of bad quality. Yes I held back. I have documented here the cluster of a pickup experience with pictures and video in another...

Advertised EV's should more realistic after the first charge @ POS

So when you go to purchase your SR+ with a stated range of 240 miles do you realise that after the first full charge it will never reach that range again. First year 230. Second year 212. Before a level off this is the nature of lithium ion technology. But does the consumer new to the game...

4 months left in 2020 to make a Tesla FSD on city streets

We are in that same position now as I was buying my 2019 Model 3 from the Tesla website last year. Knowing that as stated by Elon that the car would self drive by the end of 2019. How confident does everyone feel? You see if I look overall at what my car could do then in terms of AP FSD and now...

Why is the auto parking so bad? 8 Years later.

I watched this today and..... how the hell has Tesla not nailed this after 8 years? Why why why? P.s. those 2 white lines are ridiculously crappy atm.

    Range degradation for 2020.28.6

First time in ages since I have done a 90% charge then switched to miles for a peek. Out of the original 240 my SR+ is rated for at 90% I have 209 miles of WLTP range @ 21c ambient temp. This would seem to represent just under a 3% range loss for 5690 miles at 9 months old. My thoughts on this...

Motor making a new noise at slow speed? 2020.12.11.2

Morning all. Day before yesterday taking the car out for a short trip fully warmed up as us Brits enjoy some hot weather for once! Given the fact Elon thinks Tesla's stock price is too high...

I think my model 3 was priced too high as well. I mean if you think about the build quality and the hassle of getting it all put right then 40K to not have a good new car experience is overpriced overall. Worthy of a diminished value claim coming with a corrective service list a mile long from...

That google maps display in the SC's

In the SC waiting rooms there is a display showing fleet status. Is there a public link to that page about how much CO2 the fleet has saved and where they are all charging over the globe? Possible drivers seat issue model 3?

The last handful of times I have been getting in the car to sit down I have felt my rear hit metal which I did not used to. At first I thought it was just a one off but on further investigation or at least it feels like it to me I can feel 2 bolts through the seat I did not used to feel when...

Warped glass is getting worse and spreading.

This model 3 is the car that keeps on giving! So got out of the car this afternoon to see multiple areas of the glass warping / showing more flat spots. They also look out of alignment and are easy to push down on the outside with my fingers like seated on a soft pad. So does this mean I now...

This is a fine looking car and with the auto closing boot and parking aids look superior to my model 3. The speed and mile efficiency well we will have to see on that. Tesla like to Rob the British for just some heated seats?

I was interested in the heated seats but I don't think Tesla realise $300 is £230 in our money. That is a huge markup for a software unlock for people here. There are no extra delivery costs involved or shipping taxes? Come one give us a break with this for the all times we have to sort out...

The only Battery Answer you will ever need! [Personal Opinion]

So many understandable questions about battery usage. The answer: Your battery is monitored by a BMS ( Battery Management System ) this gives you a majority slice of the pie which is not down to 0% nor is it up to 100% of your battery. So the answer with the latest generation of cells and the...
