Apparently, there's another site coming up close by. Tesla employee coordinating the wait at San Juan Capistrano on Friday acknowledged the need for expansion at Tejon Ranch.

Maybe at Napa river inn, ofcourse at the cost of other EV hoping to find a spot there. At most wineries like Casa Di Amorosa, Hall Wines etc there's no such luxury.

HPWC at most Napa locations are a hit or a miss specially at the wineries where there are no signs indicating "EV parking Only" next to HPWC. Even at Napa River Inn HPWC get Iced.

Looks like Chademo adapters are available on request now. Monday, I emailed them to get on the waitlist, Tuesday I got a link to place the order and the item shipped Wednesday morning.

I received the check about 2 weeks after my system went live. once the install completed, PGE took about 10 days to complete their inspection and two weeks after that, I received the check in mail.

Exactly my thoughts GG. 2015 SC map doesn't bring any hope for eastbound travel along I-80 without a big detour via South or North. Hoping for a nice surprise from Tesla though.

The SC map for 2014, 2015 doesn't look encouraging for east-bound travel from SF along I-80. The two SC's coming up between Folsom and Salt Lake City (approx 650 miles) in 2014 won't cut it for travel on Superchargers. Surprised that Tesla SC team is not aggressively "Supercharging" this route...

@jdovi - so glad that you're doing fine. My family always rides in Model S now, knowing it's not just the coolest car but also the one that keeps all of us safe. Also, great to know that wonderful response from Tesla, truely Worldclass service. Hope your very own Model S arrives soon.

Have had Model S for two months now with about 2400 miles and firmware version 4.4. Standard charge goes to 190 miles and Max Range charge to 208 - 209 miles max. Have an email out to Ownership to clarify.

Agree, hill assist will be nice. The car starts to roll backwards even on slightly graded freeway exit ramp. I'd a Tesla technician in my car (for a different reason - noise level inside the car) and showed it to him, his response was to use creep feature.

Drive by the factory today on 880, saw a bunch of red loaded on the trucks. Saw a few on the production line earlier this week. It is a beautiful color.

@Apoclyps - get the floor mats. My car came with front mats but had to do some run around to get temporary mats for back seat. Tesla service centers in bay-area are out of stock. And don't forget to keep your camera charged & prepare the elevator pitch about the car, you will have to use often.

@jomo25 - if 60 & 40 is all that's left (give or take a few red or std. Sespension 85) for production in Q2, it might not look good on the top line for Q2. My guess. They should have perhaps put a batch of 60s in Q1 to smoothen out the revenue curve.

There was a flurry of delivery updates yesterday, unfortunately all for 85s. Clearly the goal is to get to profitability in Q1. Hopefully, things change for the better next week for all of waiting for 60.

@hansk - TM is still batching 85 with an odd 60 squeezed in. Delivery buttons yesterday were for 85s. Didn't hear of any for 60.

Congratulations h22a1, happy for you. I'm sure it feels great, perhaps big relief, to get out of the delivery phase as it definitely the most troubling part of the experience. One day rest of us will have a similar post. Till then we continue to wait for our Model S :smile:

@Apoclyps - welcome. Bunch of us in the waiting mode here for 60kwh. I'm sure you will be caught in the next batch of 60 whenever that happens. Have only seen a trickle of 60 delivery notices getting off late.
