    CA Waiting Room

Hi Folks, It has been a long time since I last posted. I have owned a M3 LR since Dec 2019 (luv it), and my wife and I just placed an order for the MY-P. As of now, by EDD is 11 weeks. MY-P Midnight Silver Now in speaking with some folks off line and my SA at Tesla, it seems that it might...

convince me why i should keep my model 3 order and not get a model y

I opted to for the 3 vs Y for the following reasons: 1) We already have a ICE Mid Size SUV. My loves her X6 and not going to give it up for the Y (not convinced yet). 2) For me it is easier to get in and out of the 3 (I am 6'1") 3) Driving dynamics the 3 is more nimble vs SUV 4) Just not...

Thinking of 245/45/r18 on 18" Aero Wheels with 5mm Spacers from Adaptec

Thanks for the replies everyone. I was looking at the Blox Sport spacers after seeing the video again. So stock height with 15mm spacers front and rear with 245/45/18 ok? Is 20mm needed in the rear to kick it out more or just for staggered look?

Thinking of 245/45/r18 on 18" Aero Wheels with 5mm Spacers from Adaptec

Wennfred do you have the youtube describing and showing your spacer install on your red M3? I watched it a few times. I am looking at more subtle 5mm spacers where it will show a little but not as aggressive. The Pilot Sport 4s is one of the tires I am looking at. Question, are the tires...

Thinking of 245/45/r18 on 18" Aero Wheels with 5mm Spacers from Adaptec

Hello Everyone, I am one month in with my Model 3 and I love it but I am looking at ways to subtly fill up the tire to fender gap without lowering because the Model 3 I feel sits low enough. I am thinking of going up one tire size 245/45/r18 which I know is only going to give me about .3"...

EoY 2019 Deliveries: Quality Control Thread

Lol yeah something like that. We have about 10 months left on the bimmer lease. Fortunately our new M3 issues were wheel alignment and cosmetic blem on the steering wheel and Tesla took care of it. The posts with paint and body panel alignment issues is a huge problem Tesla needs to fix. The...

EoY 2019 Deliveries: Quality Control Thread

So I am just sharing this with you so you don’t think that these issues do not occur anywhere else. They do and even with more expensive cars. I am in no way defending Tesla here especially with the paint, alignment and other issues posted here. You have every right to be upset about the...

2020 model year Model 3 discussion

I was a little late pulling the trigger on a stealth performance m3 since I was traveling and my sales rep had left me a message but I did not get to it in time. ☹️ I was really bummed. Then the $2k software update came out and my sales rep called me about this. I asked if the motors in the...

EoY 2019 Deliveries: Quality Control Thread

Regarding the bumper paint color mismatch. The bumpers were painted in another paint cycle with a different paint mixture vs the car’s paint cycle/mixture. A good bodyshop could refinish the bumpers to match as closely as possible. Hopefully Tesla has good body shops. They should step up and...
