Anybody try stainless brake lines yet?

I'm sure that my lines were worn and the new lines are going to show improvement but let me specify that after driving a new loaner with AP2 these brake lines alone made my brakes far better. My family will testify to it because I had them help me decide ;)

Anybody try stainless brake lines yet?

My rear wheel well liners rubbed through my brake lines. I apparently missed the update from the service center. I ended up finding braided lines. I don't understand why they don't roll off the production line like this! The stopping power is amazing!

    Tire/Wheel Shops - MD/VA Area

I apologize if I'm posting this thread in the wrong area -- however, I'm hoping for a quick response. I need to have some aftermarket wheels/tires installed on my Model S. I live in Maryland and would appreciate any suggestions from owners on what shops do a great job and understand our cars...

    Wind Noise

I spent some time in LA this past weekend with my buddy who picked up his 2015 Model S a few weeks ago -- same, if not worse, wind noise. It must be the frameless design. However, I'm pretty sure my Mercedes is also frameless and it's pretty damn quiet. First world problem, for sure...but for a...

    Wind Noise

Does the wind noise emitting from front pillars or small triangle corner glass annoy anyone else? I've had it addressed a few times and it does seem quieter but eventually, the noise comes back. Is it just poor seals Tesla is using, not enough insulation some where or something else? My 2006 CLS...

    Alternative to 21" Turbines?

Happy to see this tread. I'm a firm believer that the 21s complete the look of the car. I have the 19s and installed winter tires on them. I'm looking to take them off asap and install a new set of wheels/tires. I'm considering the Vossen CVT's. I believe that is their new monoblock wheel. My...

Vendor The Tire Rack and Axis wheels bring you the new Model MS in 21" !

Has anyone picked up a set of these? I'm pretty interested in getting my 19" winter set off and a spring/summer set installed. Doc, what tire(s) do you suggest with the 21's?

    Michelin XI-3s - Range loss?

I realized after I posted that my tires are actually made by Michelin, and not Continental. I also have Xi3's and not Xi2's. If a moderator can change the title, I would appreciate it!

    Michelin XI-3s - Range loss?

Hi All: I've had the continental x-ice xi2's installed for a few months on my nearly 2 year old MS and they've performed excellent this winter. I have, however, noted a significant loss in range. Do winter tires create much more friction over all season tires? During warmer months, I averaged...

    Decreasing rated range.

    I have about 36,000 miles on my S and I've seen some pretty significant range reduction. Is this normal? I'm trying to attach a photo from this week. Tuesday - 222 @ 90% Wednesday - 218 @ 90% Thursday - 215 @ 90% Friday - 215 @ 90%

    75% Insurance Increase

This is worrisome moving forward. I have many family and friends who are now jumping on the Tesla bandwagon. If they are faced with huge insurance costs after their car is built or delivered, that would be unfortunate for them. I have a 2013 MS85 with Geico. My renewal just dropped $30 for 3...
