Got 2022.4.5 update yesterday after receiving my car 2.5 weeks ago which came with 2021.39 version. Big upgrade and love it. Honestly I am not missing any features from previous v10 version and love this new upgrade. PS: yes I did set it to ‘Advanced’ setting in Software upgrade

Update: I thought I close the loop here. I decided to keep my order and I am glad I didn’t cancel it. The car I picked was flawless without a single issue. May be Tesla is working hard to improve their manufacturing process! Overall very happy with the car.

I think you probably also posted similar question on reddit as well. anyways, as I responded on reddit forum as well, I didn't put the screw on. even without the screw in place, I felt the flaps are tightly placed and not wiggling. I didn't want to touch the factory installed screw

I think it’s the combination of Mode Y and AMD is the delayed factor given its brand new for 2022

I think this could be the reason. Diff processor architecture so the code branch had to be diff. Eventually they all merge but short term we may have been kept on stable 10.2 branch.

I don’t know the answer why Tesla pushed the updates the way it does but if you think about it, this is not your iPhone OS when Apple is pushing updates to all the phone. This is for a car in which people lives at stake. If for whatever reason some bug is there in the SW only subset of customers...

Same as OP. Got delivery on 1/24 and still waiting. Reading all v11 threads, it may not be bad idea to stick with this version until a new v11 update is pushed with improved UI as promised by Elon and recently seen in China.

this explains the confusion. it was a bug in the app. it was never heated seats.. I reported few minor delivery issues and booked a service appointment. this is one of the issues I reported ... lols

I am also planning on doing ceramic by myself. just need to figure out if I should spend money on PPF and/or tint or not. which kit did you use?

this might be true for us west coast people / CA, but I have heard for cold weather states (snowy states) Tesla does ship cars with flaps and PPF.

couple of more points, the car didn't come with - mud flaps - real door PPF so you will have to buy them
