Despite new GPS antenna it is continuing to freeze the GPS. I noticed one thing that may be part of the problem or not. When it was frozen I removed the USB stick in the glove compartment and the GPS reorientated. Don't know if this is just a coincidence. @rnzaabi you should try this if you are...

On my first appointment it didn't act up, so after it came home, when it acted up I went into the service mode and shot photos of the GPS seeing no satellites. The photos helped.

Update: I was able to see in the service screen that the car GPS could not see any satellites. Set up another service appointment. This time they replaced the GPS antenna and it is working.

Our Model S keeps doing this. I keep sending bug reports. Going to have to set another repair visit soon to push them. Meanwhile I can’t determine which software updates include firmware updates.

Please let us know what parts were changed and what they said. Not sure my service center gets it.

Have same issue with our 2023 Model S. Three days in shop. They said others are having these issues and should be fixed with a firmware update. Not sure I believe them, but we shall see.

A sub-permit was issued by Osceola County that mentioned only 8 stalls. Hope it’s wrong.

Too bad. I think 8 is too few for the distance between Canoe Creek and other chargers. 12 supercharges is probably ideal.

It’s about priorities. They have moved Canoe Creek to Q4. Next month will be two years since the announcement. The distance from Yeehaw Junction to Kissimmee is the second longest distance between exits in the United States (after Fort Pierce to Yeehaw).

I don’t understand how the Canoe Creek Service Plaza is such a low priority. Delray Supercharger is only 16 miles south Of the West Palm Beach Service Plaza.

I understand they have been planned for almost two years, but the urban chargers get priority. They just pushed Canoe Creek back from Q3 to Q4.

Marco, why the emphasis on urban chargers? There is a Wawa Supercharger two exits north on I95, but Canoe Creek, Okahumpka and West Palm Beach service plazas on the Florida Turnpike have none. Any insight?

Our Model 3 had an interior crack in the glass roof. Tesla replaced it in less than a week. I remember reading that a number of other owners had a similar problem.

I double checked and we were charged at Fort Drum in early May but no charge came through for a week ago. Strange.

Turkey Lake is free; not Fort Drum.

Guess that means Turkey Lake won’t be free anymore.

Canoe Creek Service Plaza would help demand at Fort Drum. Okahumpka would help Turkey Lake. PSL probably next priority for southbound traffic.

Part of the Turnpike upgrade is supposed to include other EV chargers, so maybe that is why they are tearing up the other row.

I understood from the governor’s press conference last summer that it would be more chargers and all v3s. Hopefully they are going to upgrade after the new ones are up and running.
