Range on Performance Upgrade Option
Exciting to see that the Tesla Model Y is now on the Tesla page and you can configure them for order! My only question is why is the Performance upgrade option range at 280 miles versus the "stealth" performance edition which is estimated at 315 miles? Is it simply due to the bigger wheels?- freesole

Perhaps I should have said Model S Long Range rather than 75D. Apologies, didn't realize that they discontinued that nomenclature! Thanks for pointing that out. I can't wait for the Model Y unfortunately - my S5 is a lease that has a return date of this year. -
