I don’t think that’s the case, I live in Northern California and so far nights have been in the low 50s, though the car is garaged every night and I’d say temp is probably in the mid-60s

2020.40.4 getting installed right now, this seems like a rather small update as it downloaded super quickly and the app says it’ll only take 25 mins to install (vs the usual ~50).

P85D owner here, both Range Mode and Regen controls are still there after the update.

P85D owner here. After updating I got the sense that the MCU felt slower than usual, though I’m not worried about that since I have a service appointment to get MCU2 installed tomorrow morning. Both Range Mode and regen braking options were still there after the update.

This worries me a lot. Last year I had both options enabled while (inadvertently) driving on an icy road and I ended up spinning the car while climbing up a hill in our holiday vacation :(

This just happened to me today (2020.24.6.11 P85D on original MCU1), screen was black and unresponsive when I got in the car, so I assumed my MCU had died but it actually came back after a hard reboot, the error message however, stayed on. Timing is also perfect since there are active evacuation...

P85D with AP1 here, I got to briefly test over the weekend and I can at least confirm the nag is definitely > 10s, but since I was driving in the city I did not get a chance to push it beyond ~20s

Wrapped mine myself too, it’s a pretty cheap (like $25 I think) and easy job (30-60 mins) and it does makes the car standout a lot, even if you go with subtle color like me

I just installed 2020.20.1 yesterday and my butt dyno reports a noticeably less-violent launch and slower to 60 run when using launch control in my P85D, anyone else noticing the same? :(

How are you measuring amp/kW draw?

I had to remove my bumper so I could debug what I think is an issue with the air suspension and I used the chance to black out the last few remaining chrome parts (base of the nosecone and air louvers), I think this completes the look quite nicely:

I guess that could be possible. Looking at the parts catalog, the part name seems to be “Air Suspension Line - Exhaust - DM” (#1030627-00-A). Given its name and looking at this diagram (part 7 here), it kinda seems like this is actually by design?

Thanks for your input everyone! I did end up removing the trunk today and found that one of the hoses (black terminal) is entirely cut off and it is indeed the one through which air escapes when the compressor shuts down. Is this by design?!
