Yeah, it has happened off and on. Sometimes folks get February for like a day or two and then they get a VIN and a proper EDD.

That's pretty insane. There is someone in the LR thread with a RN1151 that has a Nov. EDD. It makes no sense. Hopefully the February change just means you're about to get your VIN.

I wonder if that date is just a placeholder if they're going to prioritize white interiors in early Q4 since they probably have a big backlog of them. It may just be the computer pushing it back as a real-time reprioritization.

Right on the white interior, but I ordered a LR Red/White 19 Thought about the Plaid with CF later, but at that point they had pushed Plaid orders into 2022.

I ordered mid-July under the premise I'd get it in October. My EDD went blank a few weeks ago (after being late Nov.) and I am waiting to see if I get a Nov/Dec EDD or a February+ EDD. It is my hope that whatever my EDD updates to will at least be somewhat accurate since it's the last remaining...

Ok I know people ordered before me. I sold my car and want to know if I'm slotted to get a car this year so I know if I need to get a temporary vehicle so I don't have to have my wife drive me around for 6 months. I don't mind the wait, I'd just like to see if I'm slotted for Q4...

I have the opportunity to get my exact configuration, bit with cream interior. At this point Iay as well wait. Not a big fan of the cream.

Every time I think I could settle for a different interior color I see pictures like these and my fortitude to wait is restored.

As much as this makes me anxious about more delays, as time goes on I suppose I'd expect these dates for those who purchase now to slowly inch backwards anyway.

As much as I'd love to add it now, I don't think I'll take the risk. Plus, if I buy it now it will count towards vehicle sales tax in my state :/

I checked out the GT a few days ago and was really impressed. But Taycan is still my preference if I have to wait until 2022 for the Tesla.

Yeah, honestly for those who ordered in Q1, I don't know how you even kept your orders at this point. I am already annoyed with Tesla enough to consider a Taycan and it's only been ~3 months for me.

What are the most common times/days there are EDD updates? Or is it completely random?

I think the dates should calm down after EOQ push, and then whatever date you get is probably the likely scenario. Come mid-October, if my date says 2022, I'll assume that's probably when it's coming. At that point, I may just conceed and get a Taycan.

I agree with your point, but it is illegal to drive without a seatbelt on. So not technically within your rights.

Same OD and RN number, but white interior. EDD still blank. Oct > February > Blank > Nov. 28th- Dec. 18th > Blank (as of last Saturday)

Which isn't available for LR models. Though I'm sure someone will make a CF trim replacement/cover kit eventually.
