I found this out in my thread, was talking about the laminated glass and the automatic trunk Apparently when Tesla implemented this is the new model 3s they use different mounting areas and it’s a change of the hardware compared to our older model 3s..

honestly I wouldn’t get an i3 for several reasons But one that you mentioned is safely I’d stick with the Subaru or wait until you can afford to get something better than an I3 Personally I think the i3 was a poor attempt of bmw making an electric car
