Heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend, who works at Fortis that said everything is a go from Fortis and Tesla, it just needs ‘final approval’ from City councillors for them to turn it on. Take it with a grain of salt, but perhaps the delay is not caused by Fortis anymore?

I sold $900 CC expiring 7/29 yesterday for $4.69, too early. Tried to close them today for $2.50, but just missed. I think the low today was $2.60?

I just picked up the new car. Order June 6th, a model 3 performance. Picked up in Surrey, BC, Canada. I can confirm that it did come with a mobile charger. No need to take the one from my trade in. As an aside, the car was flawless, Tesla has come a long way.

An update, My delivery date for my M3P is Monday June 27th. According to a text from my service advisor, I CAN take the charger from my trade in if the new car does not have one. This is good news for now. I will confirm this is the case on Monday!

That almost reads like the SA did not fully understand the question. The j1772 adaptor is a separate item in the store, and not part of the charging kit.

I think the #1 thing we have learned over the last year is to not fly too close to the sun, and stay away from being too greedy.

I know you know this, but selling a Jan 23 1200 covered call nets $135 at the moment, meaning we would need to be over 1335 on Jan 2023 for you to be worse off. Plus you get money up front, which should be worth something.

I believe @Yoona calculated a 5% reserve, so with 100K, you are using 95k as backing, so 95 $100 wide contracts. X5 or x10 for 500k or 1 million. Correct me if I am wrong!

I, too, have expiring 1100/900 and 950/900 BPS. Would it not be better to wait to close or roll them after ER, given the IV crush that usually happens? That way you also let Jerome do his thing, and let the ER dazzle which are hopefully positive influences on the stock price.

Like others have said, my biggest losing positions have been with covered calls and bear call spreads. Makes me a little nervous entering either of these ahead of what we know will be a good earnings report…

While it could have been better timed, its never wrong to make money while improving positions.

Interesting. As long as it buys and sells the puts in your portfolio (as opposed to the market) for Jan 7th in your example, that would work. Might have to try that with 1 position if/when it comes time to roll.

As far as I know it is not possible in the app, it breaks your spread into individual legs. As you know, TWS does allow it. Very frustrating for me as well. If someone knows a way to roll spreads in the app I would love to know as well.

Fwiw, I rolled my -1100/+900 BPS expiring 1/07 to 1/14 same strikes for $20 credit. Perhaps I’m naive to macro conditions, but I do not see how going into earnings we are below $1100. I did the roll as the stock price dipped past $1130 today. Happy to roll to 1/24 next week if needed.
