Do you regret paying for Full Self Driving?

I live in California, so there are some dwindling state incentives, but I am not sure how that relates to buying FSD or not?

Do you regret paying for Full Self Driving?

I read (perhaps in this thread at some point) that they charge sales tax for FSD? I can imagine if it’s rolled into the total cost of the car when buying new that they treat it like any other option. I assume that if you add FSD as a separate upgrade after buying the car that they still charge...

Tesla Y Pictures - Interior and Exterior

How about the back seat? I found the 3’s back seat way too low for my 6’2” frame.

If you set the driver’s seat for your height, is it still comfortable behind you?

Looks like it has the carbon spoiler.

Tesla Y Pictures - Interior and Exterior

Yes, that’s a thing, and a thing that the Model 3 is missing. My shoes couldn’t fit under the back of the driver’s seat in the Model 3 and I had to keep my feet at an angle. The foot room is key!!

The article I linked claims deliveries happening in Washington state and Oregon. Who knows.

TMC Member Spots Tesla Model Y in the Wild

I (along with many others, I’m sure) would prefer a “Goldilocks” performance package option that gives me the 20” induction wheels for better range and less likelihood of damage, spoiler, and the better brakes and suspension. Maybe in time once the initial rush is done.

Tesla Model Y Dimensions, Weight and Performance Off-Road

They put the info in a new post instead of updating the previous article. Here it is: UPDATE Tesla Model Y Complete Measurement With Interior Info

TMC Member Spots Tesla Model Y in the Wild

The white one a few posts above is a Performance (Uberturbine wheels) and no spoiler. There was another thread saying the spoiler is no longer listed as part of the performance upgrade pack on Tesla’s order page. I wonder if the spoiler will come at all on the production cars.

Parking Lot Pose Offers Size Comparison for Model Y

When I watched the video I thought he was next to an XC60 so I was surprised it was an XC90. In other words, the Y appeared bigger than I expected. I hope it’s somewhere between an XC60 and XC90.

Model Y 2nd Row Leg Room

Tesla Model Y Interior Pictures and Info Saw that link in another thread. It looks like the front seats are very far back and the camera has some distortion. The seat risers at least look like they’ll give space for the passenger’s shoes to go under the seat in front (a complaint I had about...

TMC Member Spots Tesla Model Y in the Wild

I tried to post a link here earlier to a Teslarati article that shows a guy standing in front of a 3, Y and X, but it seems to have “shadow posted” the link so that only I can see it. Weird. Maybe I’m too new of a member. Trying again: Tesla fan’s “selfie” with Model Y vs. Model 3 vs. Model X...

Model Y 2nd Row Leg Room

Rereading your earlier posts, I agree, the S felt fine to me (I did the same seat test back-to-back in the showroom with the S then 3). Keep us posted, I’m very curious, too! I work near a showroom so I plan to pop in as soon as I see a Y in there.

I’ll get roasted but here goes anyway

Great idea, that’s one of the things I was wondering about—how they would manage to not lose the card if they are unable to hang it in their key box. Hopefully that gizmo does the trick.

I’ll get roasted but here goes anyway

As much as I hate valeting cars, it’s sometimes a necessity (e.g. office parking garages in LA where you’re forced to park tandem and leave keys with attendants). Key fobs with a key ring are easiest in that situation. What do those of you without key fobs do for valet—leave your card?

Model Y 2nd Row Leg Room

I recently sat in the Model 3 at the local showroom, and adjusted the driver seat for my height (6’2”). I then got in the back seat behind the driver’s seat to see how much room a passenger would have behind me. The first thing I noticed was that the seat felt very low (or, in other words, the...
