If I had a silver or white Model S (and I love silver cars, so that's what it would probably be), I'd have to hit that chrome strip IMMEDIATELY - probably with Plast-Dip. And, seriously, once again: what IS that? Is it in fact a little peek-a-boo of the battery pack?

I'd say the BEST part of this is that it might be the first white out there with its rocker panels now perfectly resolved - that little chrome under the lower edge of the doors (what IS that? The battery pack peeking out?), to me, REALLY detracts from the profile of white and silver Model Ss...

True, but - as with mknox - my car has been "saved" countless times by its side moldings (I know, because they show plenty of evidence of encounters with careless a-holes), and it concerns me that my next car will likely do without - as manufacturers seem to be eliminating them for a cleaner look.

Your last pic of the dash display answers a question that I wouldn't have thought to ask (The car shown is color-matched - interior too? - to your actual car?). Pretty nice touch.

I chatted up a guy about two weeks ago with that color combo (and sat in the car while doing so), and thought the car was drop dead gorgeous. Mind you, it's a DARK blue - indeed, I thought it was black upon approach - so you'll be cleaning it as if it were black; but aesthetically it's killer.

From my link above, I'd recommend the Continental ExtremeContact DWs as probably the best overall for the money, and the Kumho Ecsta LE Sports as the best bargain tire...
