Gen 3 Charger Web Interface Issue

I'm able to connect to my WiFi (after configuring the charger to connect) using the Wall Monitor app on my iPhone. I can't configure my wall charger, but I can observe the status and it will track charging. If you are willing to pay $9, it will keep charts for you too. I have to say, I'm...

    MY LR waiting room.

We took delivery on 10/22. Our appointment was for 2pm, but we were told we could come by early. I texted a Tesla rep to ask about an early arrival... apparently they were a "virtual rep" located somewhere other than our Richmond Virginia showroom. We arrived early and they quickly printed...

    White/White Model Y Waiting Room

What was your pre delivery checklist? Were these things that you inspected before you accepted delivery?

    MY LR waiting room.

MYLR ordered on 12/8/2021 with 19" wheels, white interior, and a trailer hitch. Original estimated delivery window was July/August. This was bumped back a couple of times. In September I added FSD as I could still add the option for $10K (price had increased to $15k since my original order...

Model Y LR build as of December 2021

Hello, I just placed an order for a Model Y long range. Is there a good source that shows all of the hardware one can expect in the most recent car builds? I am located on the East coast... delivery estimate in July when I ordered, but it appears that many people are getting bumped rather...

    Debadging

That would make sense... I can't imagine anyone seeing a Cybertruck on the road and thinking "I wonder who manufactures that vehicle?" :D:D

    Debadging

Unrelated to the Model X, but in one of Sandy Monroe's Model Y videos, Tesla had punched a hole in the surface to mount the Tesla badge... I wish they hadn't done that. /sigh Perhaps we need a petition so that Tesla doesn't do the same thing with the Cybertruck.

    Tire Life

Yikes! I can only assume this will be true for the Cybertruck... but I imagine truck tires will be significantly more expensive. I knew that Tesla's tended to chew through tires quickly, but I didn't realize they wore down this quickly.

    Politics - Quarantine Thread

I am disturbed at the way Elon conveyed his message. He's attempting to make a stand and to lead, but his erratic posts are not helping his message. I've spent some time thinking about what he's said the past couple of days and have come to the conclusion that he's absolutely right. At some...

Tesla Gigafactory 1 To Reopen May 4th

I'm familiar with stories of Chinese factories that were too eager to open early. Once an employee was found to be infected, they were forced to shut down for an extended period of time. Under the Chinese system, it was not worth the risk to open while so many people were spreading the infection.

Chinese-Made Tesla Model 3 Orders Skyrocket: 10 Orders In 1 Minute

10 orders a minute would exceed manufacturing capacity... and yet Tesla has recently discounted their cars in China? Tesla Model 3: Prices for China-built cars were just cut - CNN Perhaps there were a lot of orders in a 60 second period, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Tesla is selling...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I'm a Tesla fan and I've reserved a Cybertruck. I've even had a Model S experience on the Autobahn and it ruined ICE vehicles for me. I would never short the stock and money aside, I very much want to see the company be successful. That being said, I have a real problem investing in the...

Adaptive air suspension makes me pause...

I'm exited about the prospects of a Tesla Cybertruck. It ticks all of my boxes, even if it's weird looking. I've pre-ordered both the dual motor and the tri-motor.... but the most attractive thing about the tri-motor is the 500+ mile range, as my quarterly office visits are 175 miles each way...
