I think with all the recent buzz with massive battery breakthroughs, it will be a while before we get an update. Not to mention Elon won't release an update until the US changes the laws on side view cameras in lieu of mirrors.

I agree. I'm sure the Model 3 cars are great, but sorry folks, there is only one M! I might just keep it. I'm basically just biding my time until my Cybertruck Tri is ready. The 3 would just be temporary and would go when the new truck is done.

I'm signed up to be the Guinea pig. I plan on towing my 12k boat about 180 miles from my house to the places I fish. I expected to get half the range from the start. My 2001 F250 gets 19-23 mpg empty, 13 with my boat behind it.

Thank you for the link. I do have a PowerCaster. It certainly has enough power, but it only works when the ground is dry. I live in the pacific northwest so that doesn't happen all that often. I think I just need an aircraft tug.

Can you post a link to the trailer valet? Anything is better than unhooking, turning truck around, hooking up again, jockey into position, unhook again.

I agree with you. My front hitch is only rated for 5k yet I have to move my boat with it several times a year. The boat is 12k. I keep waiting for the front of my truck to fall off but in reality, I only move the boat about 30 feet.

I doubt I'll be needing one on my CT due to the relatively short wheelbase but wondering if the design will allow for a front mount hitch. I use mine often on my crew cab long box but I'll be happy never using one again if the short wheel base allows for that. Nice to have option though.

Mine is straight piped as well. But with the old 7.3's and a Wicked Wheel, you just don't get a lot of noise out of the back. Most of mine is through the intake, turbo, and injectors.

I agree! Anything under 4 seconds makes people sick anyway. I test drove the I-Pace (forgot to mention that above) and floored it. A second later I hear the window in the back seat going down. I look in the rear view mirror to see sweat beading on my buddies forehead.

By trailer brake controller, I'm referring to controlling the brakes on what is behind the truck. No matter if Cybertruck is the best rig on the planet, it STILL will need to tell the trailer when to apply it's own trailer brakes. Surge brakes are not legal in Canada for good reason on...

I know none of us know anything at this point, but I sure hope they offer a factory installed trailer brake controller that is capable of knowing what trailer you are towing.

I was wondering the same thing. My 7.3 diesel weighs 8,200 lbs by itself. It gets about 20-22 mpg on the freeway with a canopy and 35" all terrain tires. Towing my 12k boat, it's knocked down to 13 mpg. I don't know much about electric vehicles but I'm hoping the 500 mile range of the tri get's...
