How much of the power bar is generally missing? Even in these cold temps with my battery at 5/6c I can access plenty of power. The limiting factor is always traction really. Cold affects power draw less than it does for charging.

I'm sure it used to stop pre conditioning if you pressed on the message. In the interest of science I went and checked with scanmytesla. I can confirm the battery continued to heat.

From what I've been able to work out from scan my Tesla the snowflake varies by both temperature and current SOC. The pack may be slightly unbalanced and/or, as you used scheduled departure at 9a car would likely need to pull additional juice from the battery to satisfy pre heating...

Only problem if you forget to put them back you'll have to stop, put the car in park and then turn service mode off. They used to go down on there own when you engaged park

Thanks for your help, think its sorted. It was related to corrupt data somewhere. Looks like my backup got corrupt somehow. I restored an earlier one from my daily Cron backups and it picks up when the car in online now.

This appears to be normal behaviour. I have scan my Tesla and front always seems to engage only regardless of the situation. I haven't had snow to test that scenario but on other low grip surfaces / trying to force RWD I have not been able too

Will the 10 miles per hour be against rated range though? I get just shy of 2.4kw at the plug and ScanmyTesla reports 2.1kw going into the battery. Car uses around 250/300w to run the systems. I'd get 12% in 4 hours. I don't use miles tbh.
