That’s not what I mean. In principal, If someone in say, late September who ordered an Ultra Red, a week ago decides to switch to Stealth Gray, then that person should go behind the others in line for stealth gray no?

Collected my M3P today. Terrible quality control to be honest. But it is what it is, got the pressing issues sorted to get it into PPF and got a service appointment to fix the rest but at least 6 issues still left to fix adding to the two paint defects, oh and overspray all over the windshield...

SC called and told me the truck was delayed so they needed an extra day to have it arrive and then they can wash it and check it all over to make sure it’s all good and give it a charge. Hope that’s the truth and it’s not a cover up job for an issue with the car.

Do you have a seam on your rear trunk lid where the spoiler is? My instal guy said there will be a visible seam there.

Copy that. I had seen the report on Electrek that story said it’ll be in all model 3 and model y supply chains globally “by” q1 2021. So just wanted to see if anyone had notice it in the US. No drama though, headlights are the least of my concerns when deciding what car to buy and when :)

Finally got delivery date after VIN appearing in account a couple of days ago. Orlando, FL MSM/Black, M3P no FSD. Not long to go.

Checked this morning. I have a VIN. MSM M3P in Orlando. Ordered 11/27 Delivery estimate now moved from 12/13-12/27, now shows 2-5weeks from order date. No option to book delivery yet. But I have a VIN!!! Progress.

Dates just changed. Went from 12/21-12/31 now shows 12/13-12/27 No idea what it means but it’s a change.

Same spec here in Orlando so hopefully I’ll have my VIN soon if they made them in the same batch. SA emailed and said it should be at their SC by 12/20 so maybe pick up before Xmas. Fingers crossed.

So true! I didn’t see the second picture but it makes it even more strange why they wouldn’t wrap the panels at risk during transport or at least have some consistency to the transit protection process.

I think that’s literally the worst nightmare for me on transport. The position of that car would be right in the firing line for road debris and potential damage etc. no protection on the paint and right in the firing line. Woof

Just checked now and My dates range has stayed the same. Ordered 11/27 and SA contacted today to say car eta is 10 days out.

SA reached out to me via the Delivery Text system I believe (my first Tesla I still had the same txt thread from the phone number they used) He said my cars ETA is arriving on site 12/20 so should be picking up just before Xmas hopefully. Progress at least.

I ordered on 11/27, so although my SA has been pretty much MIA, I’d be so pissed if I’d ordered back in like October and I didn’t get my car by end of quarter. Something must be going on at the factory for this to be happening. It seems like VINs are going out sooooo slowly for the M3Ps!
