I saw the 9pc set as well, where the trunk comes in two pieces for those that want. Debating if a single piece is better for overall coverage or two piece for function.

Interesting, In doing a price comparison a Y PUP is $10 cheaper now than my existing order. Going for a test drive tomorrow in a Y and will most likely be making a color change and add tow hitch option.

Thanks for the info! Overall, nothing to worry about if we had similar quality. But of course, a bit more post production QA may resolve a few of those issues as well. Our service center has a sales office with a model Y available for test drive. So we are excited to test drive one on this...

Our VIN on PUP (red for me) have same birthday as the advisor told me on 5/18. Although mine has not been scheduled for delivery yet. Let us how yours turns out for delivery and enjoy!

Still no call/text or contact on my Y yet. No visible VIN but it is in the source. Also, when I spoke to Tesla they said a Delivery person was assigned and they told me her name. But again, no contact nor delivery date in web page. My guess is, it’s still not quite ready yet.

Called Tesla this morning to inquire. They have indicated my VIN was matched to my RN on May 18 (so 3 days ago) and that it shows it's still at Factory. So presumably being built still? Or been sitting in dust. Need to check the build date on the Y. So it should be 2-3 weeks out she said...

Just talked with Tesla today. My Y is also a RED PUP and the VIN that was assigned per the Advisor 3 days ago is 33XX. I'm seeing other folks reply as well that RED seems to be in this lower bracket VIN block.

Likewise, checking the status on the web site, my order shows a RN still for Vin ending 33xx. No contact at all, no call, no text like our former M3. Seems the order is stuck in limbo. Will call them tomorrow and check on status.

Let’s hope if cars are being manufacture red and built during these times will not suffer from quality issues. As a member waiting for my Y VIN assignment, I hope the Tesla employees are staying safe and Tesla continues to manufacturer quality vehicles during these troubled times and continue...
