A number of locations in the NE of Melbourne (Yarra Valley I believe) spent the weekend without power. It definitely can happen, so am feeling good about the decision to invest in one. If only to keep the fridges and some basic lighting going.

Yes, I've had 6% loss in about 23 hours, it is on Sentry mode, but all other consumption that I can think of is off. Does anyone have any perspective of whether this is normal? Or how to dig into the internals to look at power trend graphs?

Good news with the latest update is that for some reason the greyed out "USB Format" is now not greyed out. Not sure what happened there. While I do understand that sentry mode has a decent battery drain, I drained 7% of my battery overnight (LR), so I am going to watch this more carefully...

One thing I have already noticed with 2020.24.6.4 is that I don't seem to be able to USB format. It is now greyed out.

One thing I’ve noticed for my .13 update is that sentry mode is now up and running, but giving me a grey screen as the 10+ min recording rather than the actual footage. Has anyone else seen this? I’ll have a go at reformatting the USB drive, it is single formatted FAT32 and a high speed video...

Did it fix the sentry operation issue?

Hold down the camera button until there is a little flash. This will stop the camera, and you can remove the USB safely. Pressing the camera once I think records the last 10 mins as a saved file. I’ve not tried the music partitioning, I am just using my phone.

Interesting, the word from the PM is that it’s just social gatherings as non-essential. The ABC suggests that Victoria was pushing harder for truly essential, but has been overruled. So deliveries could still be on, but who knows when the Victorian government will lose patience? Fingers crossed.
