Agree with LVGhost. My installer also said black is easier to wrap. That is, unless you are going with white or a really light wrap.

The rims are painted gloss black. I had the choice to powder coat them but the logistics involved were a bit more complex. The shop that did the wrap painted rims but did not do powder coating. So, I was able to get it all done at the same time.

The mirrors are hydrodipped. I'm not sure exactly what was involved in the process but it looks much more like carbon fiber than the wrap does.
