Model S and X to get 4680 batteries. I told my wife my Plaid won't be my last car and this is one of those reasons.

Per Troy Teslike today: "They still use 18650 cells for Model S/X. Model S/X are expected to switch to 4680 cells" We thought all models would eventually go 4680 at some point, but this is the first specific mention of S/X that I've seen. Hopefully in about 2 years that would work for me...

My safety score went away, still no Beta.

My new Plaid, I've wanted to get back into Beta. I was at 99-- my wife drove it and dropped it from 100, but all good. On the 14th, I got a download of 16.1.1. Thinking it was beta I was all excited, and went to install. It never finished installing, and just started acting like there never...

Does anyone know of the quarter mile time of the Refresh (long range) MX?

I'm trying to justify in my head not to wait it out for the plaid MX. I want more range, and I know the pull of the throttle is there like the plaid above 60. The long range S is a bit faster in 1/4 mile than the Raven S 100D, correct? So then I'm assuming the refresh long range MX still...

Refresh Model S real world range

Anyone have any comparisons of the refresh Model S real world range versus the previous Raven model S range? Does the new refresh heat pump show off in cold climes? Is the 20 mile or so 'buffer' still there when the percentage reaches 0? I'm hoping some sandbagging went on when it comes to...

That Yoke though. I'm starting to miss it every time I see the wheel in a Plaid.

Is it just me? That gorgeous presentation of the new clean dash over the smaller yoke is something I'm finally getting used to. It's almost as if the yoke is 'serving up' and 'revealing' the new dash. Love it.

New Tesla Model X Long Range should change it's name.

I'm one of those that was hoping for a big range increase on the new Model X. I'm looking forward to the new updates big time, but, range is the biggest factor for me. I like long road trips. No, I love long road trips. I love dashing from place to place, and I can do it easier with a...

2020.24.61 downloading. Looks like the errands have to wait.

I've been waiting on this one. The latest software updates 2020.24.6 and 2020.24.6.1, Tesla continues to release the update to Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control (Beta). Vehicles with this update will no longer need to tap on the gas pedal to confirm green light when passing through a traffic...

No CarPlay still? (to the heavens) whyyyy???

Please Elan, in the next few updates. At least until the next great interface shows up! CarPlay is so much superior as an interface, and gives every driver choice, not to mention eases LTE bandwidth and gives us back full high fidelity streaming to our amazing sound system if we want it!
