Same here as well. On an unrelated note, the front of mine has started flaking - anyone done any repair work on them (I imagine it’s be a case of sanding/spraying).

I use a RaceGlaze resin water filter which attaches to my hosepipe and more or less prevents all water spots (as long as you replace the resin when it’s spent). You can pretty much just leave the car to dry and not worry about rushing when it’s warm out.

Same, I’ve put stick on (front and back) on my current/previous car and they were definitely unusable after being removed (also took a while longer than pulling off the standard ones).

You may be right and I may end up sticking with none at all - the lip ones seem a little pointless if I’m honest (in terms of looks).

😆 I did indeed ask. This is my second M3 and the last one I kept stock. I do agree that large spoilers and wide body kits etc. can look terrible (depending of course on the car) and that was the reason for asking about anyone having gone with these smaller ones.

Another question, do people prefer the lip style spoiler (like one the M3P) to those I’d linked or no spoiler at all?

Hmm a reduction in acceleration might put me off. Although I suppose I could try to convince the wife we needed the acceleration boost to offset the spoiler.

You may be right although Direct Line haven’t given any indication that would be the case from previous calls. They seem to have the attitude of “as long as we’re told it’s fine” which seems fair enough.

I’m not normally one for doing too much to cars but this is the first one where I feel some modifications are ok (windows are tinted, wheels replaced and now debadged). My thoughts with the two spoilers in my original post is that they’re not too garish as they’re only slightly higher than that...

On a related note, the seal around the boot on my M3 has a gap between the seal and the rear bumper (i.e. under the seal so not affecting water ingress into the boot - it’s not easy to see on the photo). the bumper also appears to be chipped in some way at the same location. Does anyone else...
