    Supercharger - Bothell, WA - 201st Place Southeast (LIVE 21 Mar 2024, 12 V4 stalls)

Active for a week and scheduled for inspection tomorrow. 🤔
  2. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA - Gilman Blvd. (permit Feb 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

I have a public information request in with the city for a copy of the plan set. I’ll post what I receive.
  3. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - San Mateo, CA - 2817 S. El Camino Real (LIVE 25 Mar 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

There’s pictures of V3 stalls at this site. No need to imagine. Charge rate is also dependent on battery temp. And the older S/X tend to charger slower as well.
  4. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA - Gilman Blvd. (permit Feb 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Probably designed to output to only 2 posts for NEVI compatibility (150kw/stall no sharing). And maybe some type of 800V compatibility built in. We won’t know until we see the data plate and site design.
  5. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Blacksburg, VA

Because they are building V4 stalls. V3 are likely old inventory being sent to locations where V4 isn’t a priority.
  6. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Valleyview, AB

I am sorry to hear that but If it needed repair it has nothing to do with lack of a supercharger so this isn’t the place to complain. If the battery died, you should have stopped when you were warned at 10% and 5% and 0%, etc. There are warnings for a reason.
  7. Mrbrock

Model Y standard range battery LFP?

There are other threads on here for that topic.
  8. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Redmond, OR (permit issued Mar 2024, 8 stalls)

Dig ticket filed today. Look for markings soon and construction as soon as next week. https://www.searchandstatus.com/orrecApp/ticketSearchAndStatusView.jsp?enc=qRPycb%2BXUmnJ1cYLO3R6BrMByXeiXxdhH6HGBB8wpTyzCt7IQwsxnS0WPT%2BdsGi%2B Now they just need to rename the road Dr Odem Medo Rd…

    Supercharger - Bossier City, LA

Smaller framing for a meter box probably.
  10. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Temecula, CA - Margarita Rd (permit found, 20 V3 stalls)

Based on the permit number, that was applied for in 2022. Glad there wasn’t a “coming soon” post back then. At least it was issued recently so construction could be underway.
  11. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Pittsburg, CA (permit submitted, 12 stalls)

Solar canopy and mega pack as well. Main permit https://aca-prod.accela.com/PITTSBURG/Cap/CapDetail.aspx?Module=Building&TabName=Building&capID1=REC24&capID2=00000&capID3=001VC&agencyCode=PITTSBURG Solar permit...

Supercharger - Upland, CA (under construction Jan 2024, 64 V3 stalls)

They can charge non Tesla users who are partners with Tesla/nacs those fees through the app. They don’t need to have card readers to make money from non Tesla users. There are very few manufactures who haven’t signed on to NACS. Look at all the V3 sites open to non Tesla users, none of those...

Supercharger - Blaine, WA - Boblett St

There was something wrong with other that didn’t meet code. It was written as a correction needed. What exactly we don’t know. Online just doesn’t whether it was approved or disapproved and the f elders to the posts were disapproved. It’s all in the pictures I posted of the inspection page.

    2020 Model Y Headlight Replacement.

Warranty. LEDs aren’t like a regular bulb that burns out and you replace. Because of this it should be covered by warranty.
  15. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Dublin, CA - Amador Valley Blvd (LIVE 3 Nov 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Which site? None of them are greyed out or circled and slashed in the app.
  16. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA - Gilman Blvd. (permit Feb 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Sc.info for this site links to the Gilman Village thread not this one.
  17. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Upland, CA (under construction Jan 2024, 64 V3 stalls)

Because those sites don’t have government funding therefore they don’t need those features. Just because they are there to simplify manufacturing doesn’t mean they need to be in use.
  18. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Bothell, WA - 201st Place Southeast (LIVE 21 Mar 2024, 12 V4 stalls)

If it’s a law or resolution or something from the government that has been passed it’s public record. They cant just enact secret things. This isn’t Russia. If you are being fed insider government information that is upcoming that’s one thing, saying it is currently being enforced without any...
  19. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Upland, CA (under construction Jan 2024, 64 V3 stalls)

V4 posts are being rolled out because they meet all the government requirements of having CCS and a payment screen. Cabinets/switchgear will need the proper converters from 480VAC to 800VDC. That will not be a software fix.
  20. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Blacksburg, VA

The hardware isn’t in the V3 stalls. It has to be added. So if there aren’t stalls on site, they can’t add it in until the stalls show up. And they need them to be working to know that they are installed properly and inspected.
  21. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Blaine, WA - Boblett St

Wires going from a main junction box or piece of equipment to another are called feeders. There are feeders from the switchgear to the supercharger cabinets and then feeders from the cabinets to each charge post.
  22. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Bothell, WA - 201st Place Southeast (LIVE 21 Mar 2024, 12 V4 stalls)

@ImScotty I am still interested in the reference that WA state will only allow new chargers that are open to the public.
  23. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Honolulu, HI - Kahala Resort (12 stalls)

I imagine the $50 spend is for the max charge. If you are only there for 30 minutes, probably only a $20 spend. $10 for 50kwh. Sounds about right for more than 20 mins but less than 40.
  24. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Carmel - N Illinois St, IN

And a giant green transformer where those conduits come out of the ground.
  25. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Shoreline, WA (Under Construction Aug 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Just posted in Seattle 45th before I saw this. . Transformer most for containment as I hav surmised and @Big Earl confirmed.
  26. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Seattle, WA - NW. 45th St. (Under Construction Oct 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Here’s your confirmation. It’s a transformer moat to prevent contamination. https://scmflow.com/products/catastrophic-secondary-containment/
  27. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Soda Springs, CA (LIVE 8 Dec 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

What size is the transformer? Should be a rating plate or marking somewhere. There should also be a red rating plate on the switchgear cabinet door.
  28. Mrbrock

Supercharger - San Jose, CA - S. White Rd. (under construction Mar 2024, 12 stalls)

V3 cabinets at least. Will see about stalls when they go up.
  29. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA - Gilman Blvd. (permit Feb 2022, 16 V3 stalls)

Can you post the sheet with the actual site design? Not just the red box? Dig ticket says in front and to the north of the pizza place.
  30. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Rochester, WA - Sargent Rd SW (electric permit applied 3/22/24)

Another Supercharger is coming to Rochester, this time to the Talking Cedar Brewery at 19770 Sargent Rd SW. https://secure.lni.wa.gov/epispub/frmViewInspection.aspx?Permit=2011403530 @B2writer another one in your back yard. @Big Earl @Guacahummus @corywright
  31. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Bothell, WA - 201st Place Southeast (LIVE 21 Mar 2024, 12 V4 stalls)

As far as I know, the only reason for the screens is access to govt funding. It is not required for Tesla or any of the aumakers running charging through the Tesla app. It is strictly for “pay at the pump” type charging which is mandated for many of the programs but not by any type of charging...
  32. Mrbrock

Do I have a structural battery pack?

This was never the case. Only the AWD Model Y from Austin had structural. Not the LR AWD, just the AWD Model Y (279 mile range). RWD MY (formerly SR) doe not have structural.
  33. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Blaine, WA - Boblett St

Fixing feeders to the charger posts to get final electrical approval and then Tesla to provision and energize their side.
  34. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Honolulu, HI - Kahala Resort (12 stalls)

I think the question is whether you can valet for $6 in 20 minute intervals. Most charging stops would be 30 minutes or less so $12. Some people won’t want to spend $50 to save $12. But if they only option is a flat $50 to valet regardless of length of parking, that changes things.
  35. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Benicia, CA - Southampton Rd (permit issued, 16 stalls)

Id hop down if I was still in the area but it’s a little far for me now. Would make a fun trip to Del Cielo and Five Suns.
  36. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Bothell, WA - 201st Place Southeast (LIVE 21 Mar 2024, 12 V4 stalls)

But not yet on the App. Looks like they are updating website first now for some reason. @Big Earl @Guacahummus @corywright
  37. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Hayward, CA (LIVE 22 Jun 2019, 16 Urban stalls)

It was just confirming and updating the title from 14 stalls to 16. As far as all of the rumors/speculations you have for new sites, there is a thread for site speculation where you can discuss those (some of which already have threads here like the one you mentioned above).
  38. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - West Seneca, NY

No. There are a quite a few other sites around.
  39. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Benicia, CA - Southampton Rd (permit issued, 16 stalls)

Anyone with construction pics? Transformer is usually last thing to go in. @bmah you in the area at all?
  40. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Bothell, WA - 201st Place Southeast (LIVE 21 Mar 2024, 12 V4 stalls)

Interesting. Guessing that means there is some govt money at work here.
  41. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Puyallup, WA (permit found, 12 stalls)

@Big Earl right where you guessed.
  42. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Kalispell, MT (permit Feb 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

I really doubt it will have magic dock with the opening of the network. Other makes are releasing adapters (some for free) so why invest money in magic docks? As far as we have heard, none of the V4 sites have the ability to activate the built in magic docks yet (any may never).
  43. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Shoreline, WA (Under Construction Aug 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Or if it will even be installed. It may just be for trapping things during installation and will go away once the pad is poured.
  44. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Firebaugh, CA (I-5 / West Panoche Rd, LIVE 13 Nov 2020, 56 V3 stalls)

Its got the red pin with the wrench icon in the app. Reduced Service. Currently 26 of 56 stalls available which likely means 28 are active. Who knows what they are doing...
  45. Mrbrock

Supercharger - Snoqualmie Pass, WA - Location Pin

I noticed that too. This address was in Marcos December address dump I believe but maybe it just wasn’t going to work out.
  46. Mrbrock

    Supercharger - Visalia, CA #2 (under construction May 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

Not surprising given the amount of time it has sat installed with no parking area waiting for the hotel. Surprising that people haven’t tried to take the whole charge post.
