Nope, quite the opposite. Charging is way faster with a preconditioned battery. The comparatively low amount of energy it takes to heat the battery means next to nothing in terms of charging time, but the warm battery will make charging much faster. Sorry if there has been any confusion.

Would you be able to confirm that the rubber seal runs all the way around the edges and not just around some of them? As you can see in the picture I posted, there doesn't appear to be a seal beneath the cameras. I'm not sure if this is intentional or if there is a torn or missing part.

Same bad experience here. I bought a M3 RWD for my gf in mid December. There was a promotion that got us free supercharging for 6 months and also 3 months of FSD. I was excited to see how much has changed since the free trial I got years earlier, but apparently, FSD doesn't even get the basics...

Given that a dual-motor Tesla uses roughly 7 kW for preconditioning, it would take about 3.5 hours to burn 25 kWh. Do you have the numbers for the heat capacity and weight of the battery? I'm not saying you're wrong, but 25 kWh seems so out of range that I would like to run the numbers myself...

I don't think it's related to the software version. I've had this exact problem twice on my M3, with different software versions. Over time, the problem fixed itself, except that Trip A and Trip B were lost.

Seems like it. You can cancel auto high beams over and over again. I'd prefer not to have auto high beams altogether (although I don't despise them as much as the auto wipers), but at least there is a way to turn them off.
