These reservation sales will die out soon now that Tesla is forcing deliveries. No more camping on reservations and more inventory for those who actually want one. Just give it some time is my thought.

Once you add in dealer fees and dealer taxes (vs private party on used car) you lose any advantage you had. It's very unlikely a dealer would not have any idea what they've got and be selling it at anything significantly below market value. Any dealer who does this won't be a dealer for long.

Unfortunately I suspect you're only in for a greater loss with the increased EV vehicles on the horizon and the MY21 upgrades. Elon seems open to price concessions when presented with competition so I wouldn't expect the market for used to get any better.
