Insurance wasn't a problem. I'm with LV and the declared mods added £70 to a previously paid up premium, and would account for about £120 over the whole year.

I've experienced something similar before, it was corrosion building up between the disk and pad. I turned off the regen and drove it a couple of miles. Using the brakes cleaned them off, the noise went away and I repeat the process every week or so.

No, I left the profile at 35. A 30 profile would be too low on a 245 section tyre. The wheels on the P seem to be made from cheese as it is. My reason for doing so was having damaged two tyres in a pothole. I think I was lucky to have not buckled the wheels, and was looking to mitigate this...

When it comes to replacing your tyres, using a wider tyre may help. I replaced my original 235 width tyres with 245, and the Goodyear Eagles have a slight lip to protect the wheel.

You can get the same model tyres without the foam. Shameless plug here, but I have 2 part worn OE Tesla tyres in the 'for sale' section... ;-D

There are plenty of suspension options out there. Suspension modifications have dramatically improved my P, at a cost of about £3k. To me, it was worth it.

To be honest, and despite me now having boxes of excess car parts that I could do with moving on, the new set up is a huge upgrade over the original P suspension. I had to think long and hard before deciding to upgrade the suspension, the parts aren't cheap and I didn't want to be disappointed...

Litchfield locked the sensors in place. They did comment that they could make some brackets, should I require them to. I would have done so had the Fabricator been there that day, and I'll probably do so should I be there for anything in the future.

Oh and I also have a full set of springs, dampers and anti roll bars from my Performance, should anyone be considering a cost effect upgrade for an AWD model ;-D

Maybe give them a try at 45psi and see how they feel? I found increasing to 45psi (from 42) resulted in a slightly firmer but less harsh ride, but this was on 20" wheels.

You're not wrong. As with anything tech related, things move quite quickly and what is now cutting edge will soon be superseded. But it's still a car and if it suits your needs now, there's no reason why it wouldn't continue to do so for a long time.

If you're looking at MPP coilovers, they're dispatched from Germany, so you won't incur any import fees.

It might also be worth seeking out an OE Performance rear anti roll bar. Apparently they're thicker than the AWD one.

I guess it depends on how much you're looking to shell out? Decent aftermarket coilovers are expensive, whereas OE P suspension wouldn't cost much. I'll be able to give you a direct comparison of the OE Performance suspenion and MPP's Comfort Coilovers next Friday, but that wouldn't really...

Why does Tesla not publish the technical specifications of the products they're selling? Why is there so much guess work involved?

I would always tick the box for quicker acceleration if it was available, especially if it meant more torque at higher speeds. Unfortunately I think the next significant performance boost for the 3 will be with the next battery iteration.

The 245 section tyre will have a slightly taller side wall than the 235, this will help. Also, the higher load index will assist the suspension absorbing more of an impact prior to the tyre taking the hit. I have very literally just changed to a 245/35 95 tyre for the same reasons. It will all...

Yeah it did. In the UK, the P was offered as the 'stealth' version, with the larger wheels, spoiler etc offered as a "performance pack" upgrade. The option was then dropped when the LR AWD car was reintroduced.
