Awesome thank for reporting back, this gives me hope. Since I do not have the CANBUS connector for hansshow, EVOffer should resolves my issue. Hopefully our observations and investigations help anyone else with this issue.

Nope, do not have a CANBUS connector to test, since my kit was before they started doing that. I will be receiving my tesla offer version of the trunk kit very soon and reinstall and hope it fixes it.

No it doesn't affect the closing trunk. When it's toggles between the 2 you can only click on Open to close the trunk, since 'Opened' is disabled.

Just recieved mine today, seems like there's some new changes from what I noticed on some install videos I've been watching. Looks like solidering/crimping is required now. I am also not entirely sure what's the yellow plug is for it says 'handle plug'.
