The Mall owner that hosts the St J supercharger is renting parking spaces for eclipse watching. Dunno whether they've provided access to the supercharger. Waits are showing at Lincoln NH and West Lebanon superchargers as well, and now Thornton and Ashland. It's a popular travel day!

Either they just fixed the (database backing the) mobile app, or something is out of sync. 1A shows as OOO on my mobile app. It's strange enough that the mobile app and in-car nav are using different data sources

Yesterday this location showed Temporary Closure in the app & in-car nav. Today it shows as "open", but with all 8 supercharger stalls out of order. Make sure you have a backup plan.

It's pretty common for new locations to show up in the app quickly (same day, even), but take longer to show up on the in-car nav.

Seems to me that simplicity is based on having a highly-trained (in this case contracted) workforce. If Tesla were deploying 90% pre-fab units, the installers wouldn't know how to roll their own. But since they're installing maybe 40% pre-fab (finger in the wind from local observation), they can...

The excavator was in the same position last week, it doesn't seem to have moved and there's no change I saw to the transformer area.

Danvers showed Temporary Closure yesterday, back open today - I assumed it was the same process.

The lot is striped (finally) and the rightmost stall is signed "Designed for disabled access - use last". Also, there's this:

Progress! The new V3s are installed, the fences are down. V2 stall 3A and 3B are open again, the fences are down. 3B has been moved 3' to the right. But we need a transformer, and probably a pad to put it on, given where the wiring comes up (red poles).

Just missed you - I was there from 11:30-noon

Now stalls 3A and 3B are fenced off. Stall 3B has been completely removed. The area in front of the 2 stalls has been repaved. On the new side, the trench has been filled in. No activity around the transformer location.

Stopped by yesterday afternoon to charge. One other Tesla (Model X). A couple of ICE vehicles in the lot, carefully parked away from the stalls. Lot still needs to be striped - line up on a bollard to back in. The roads in the complex aren't correctly shown in the nav, I assume this will work...

Two months ago that area wasn't paved. Once it starts seeing usage, I expect the ICE drivers will adapt (again).

No significant change. Caution tape is down, 3-4 stalls blocked by ICE vehicles :rolleyes:, but no striping, no power, no meter or sign of where it would go.

Paved, and recently by the look of it. Not striped yet, and no power to the stalls. There's no obvious spot for a meter on the transformer or supercharger cabinets - but there is a live meter on the back of the (apparent) power distribution boxes. I don't know whether it's related to the...

Stalls, bollards, light-standard-bases, supercharger cabinets, and transformer(!) all in place. No sign of a meter. Power seems to be underground through the complex. Bollard covers and light standards themselves need to go up, and could use a lick of pavement.

This location showed up in the in-car nav as we were driving by yesterday afternoon. (We charged at Charlton instead.)

My Model S eats tires, I'm getting roughly half the mileage on a set that I did on previous cars. The Model S tires aren't cheap, either. Another variance is major repairs on the gas car. I agree that this is a draw or close to it - certainly not a slam dunk for Tesla/EVs

My remanufactured battery has broken 180kW several times in two months, most recently 187kW at the Burlington SC near home. 2/2019 Model S100D. As you say, it tapers down quickly. I prefer the V3 superchargers - somehow the electrons smell fresher.

It's pretty typical for new supercharger sites to have a lag before they show up in the in-car nav. Manchester shows up on the app - this is also typical. Enjoy those sweet fresh electrons!
