Amps reducing when reaching 100% charge

I believe, this is normal behavior for charging any lithium battery, charging starts in constant current mode (CC) until nearly fully charged then switches to constant voltage (CV) mode when close to 100%. In CV mode the current is reduced as battery voltage increases from charging until...

Affordable and good quality GLASS ROOF SUNSHADES?

I just received this one, fits well and seems to do a good job for the money. I haven't parked it outside for more than about 20 minutes though so I can't comment on how well it keeps the car cool. Front+rear Roof Glass Sunshade Shield Cover For Tesla Model 3 Skylight Screen | eBay Same...

Anyone still rocking a Pi Zero W smart drive for TeslaCam on Sentry Mode?

If you're so inclined, log in to the pi and run: pwd ls -al then run sudo -i and: cd /root ls -al cd / ls -al and post the results of the pwd command and all the directory listings (the ls -al commands). Those commands will show the contents of the SD card as seen by linux running on the pi...

Anyone still rocking a Pi Zero W smart drive for TeslaCam on Sentry Mode?

How are you starting this process? Are you flashing the prebuilt image with Etcher or are you downloading the repo from GitHub and copying it to an already formatted SD card with linux already installed? There's no formatting involved if you flash the pre-built image as the image already has...

Anyone still rocking a Pi Zero W smart drive for TeslaCam on Sentry Mode?

Yeah, you’re right it’s connected. To be clear you tried to install originally by: flashing the pre-built image using etcher. Ejected the SD card and re-inserted it in your Mac. Edit and save the sample config file to the root of the SD card as you see it in finder. Note that up to this point...

Anyone still rocking a Pi Zero W smart drive for TeslaCam on Sentry Mode?

I don't think your Pi has internet access and therefore setup can't download the scripts to finish setup. Run ping github.com after you ssh into your pi, you should get responses like (press <CTRL>+C to quit ping): PING github.com (140.82.114.3) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from...

Anyone still rocking a Pi Zero W smart drive for TeslaCam on Sentry Mode?

Open the file teslausb-headless-setup.log and post the contents here. Since the file TESLAUSB_SETUP_STARTED exists, setup thinks that it got far enough to build the filesystem with the /boot folder where it moves the config file to.

Anyone still rocking a Pi Zero W smart drive for TeslaCam on Sentry Mode?

Also I believe you must fill out your archive share data in the config file, the setup script tries to connect to this archive and if it can't it will fail. You need to fill out these variables so that it knows where and how to connect to your archive: export...

Anyone still rocking a Pi Zero W smart drive for TeslaCam on Sentry Mode?

Did you try to re-run: /root/bin/setup-teslausb Type that command directly in terminal after you ssh to the pi and run sudo -i If that fails, from the same prompt run: /root/bin/remountfs_rw rm /boot/TESLAUSB_SETUP_FINISHED /root/bin/setup-teslausb If none of that works the contents the setup...

Owners of demo cars, was the discount worth it?

I had a similar experience: Just took delivery of a 4/2019 Build LR AWD, FSD (HW 3) with just under 1700 miles last week. It’s white with 19” wheels which wasn’t my first choice but with the $8k discount I had to jump on it. The car showed up on tesla.com under existing new inventory. I...

Renamed Key Card Reverts to Original Name

That worked! After I added the card back its name briefly flashed to "unknown card", then reverted back to P or Bob, but this time when I edited the name it stuck. I was a bit apprehensive to try this, thinking that maybe it wouldn't let me re-add the deleted card, but it worked perfectly...

Renamed Key Card Reverts to Original Name

Just took delivery of my 2019 Model 3 LR AWD last Saturday (demo car, sold as new). The 2 key cards I received were named P and Bob. When I edit the names in the lock screen and press Save, they change back to P and Bob after a few seconds. I’ve tried combinations of having the keys in the car...
