15k. Or more. I don’t understand why people think the same battery would get cheaper. They are changing the batteries. I don’t even know if a 60 will be available in a few years. Because they will be making batteries differently by then.

I received a quote today.. for a 2013 model S 60. The manager at Tesla SC told me north of $15k. Mine was just replaced under warranty. I asked out of curiosity.

Update on my battery replacement. battery replace with 1120019-01-B this is the same battery size i previously had. App is showing me max charge is 186. Car is still at the service center. Only took 3 days, It is ready for pick up.

I disagree. Two reasons. 1) The worry is, they just shut the battery off. I still haven’t had an explain as to why the battery stopped charging. I feel like my car is like an iPhone. They just modify the battery.. 2) with the numbers, $17k for a replacement battery. My Tesla has 96k. And...

Last week battery would charge to 38 miles. Now, only 26. I feel like i have an Apple phone, like when they limited the battery so everyone would upgrade. after the battery swap, i am going back to a normal car. This is crazy...

Just got a call from the service center. A guy claiming he is ordering the battery. But not him.. he sent an email to the parts department.. so he isn’t sure if it is actually ordered..? Then the sales department called and asked if i wanted to test drive the Y while i am there. taking...

Just left the service center. They want me to come back next week. They put an order in for a “new” battery. Luckily i am working from home right now.

Just received the message on my 60.. i have 97k miles. Really hoping this gets swapped with no issues. Currently will only charge to 38 miles. more background for others in a 2013. I typically ran my battery between 70 miles and 170. But last weekend i drove to the airport.. left my car...

Just got the same message on my model S. 2013 60... i have had this car for a year. Seems ever other month is another issue. worst car ever.

$244 for a new handle. That’s not near as bad as $1,200. i have a SSTL Paddle gear. I will take the handle apart and see if this is functioning correctly. If so. Then i guess i will contact a SC.

The handle presents fine. The door opens fine. however, once the door closes, the handle does not retract. I have to smack it with my hand, then it pops back out, then retracts fine it is very odd.

I bought everything to fix a gen 1 or 2. I guess i need to research fixing a gen 3 now. i am puzzled as to why this was there

Wow. I just watched your video. My handle, model S 2013. I bought used last year. Handle started failing after 2 months. looks like a gen 3.

I did not reconnect anything. I took the fuse out and left it in the frunk. I put my MCU in the trunk. Once the Tegra arrived, i put it inside the MCU, installed the MCU, then reconnected the fuse

I have a 2013 model s. I took the door handle apart, there is no micro switches to replace. I can only assume this is a gen 1 handle? Because of this.. Do I need to replace the entire unit?

Just removed my EMMC.. to hold the dash up, i used two pieces of cardboard. Be sure if you go this route, slide the cardboard where the clips are. Be sure each pieces of cardboard engages with two clips. for the static bag. I can’t find it anywhere. So amazon is my only choice. 4-day...

I am think of finding a replacement MCU. There are some junkyards with them. $800. Just swap them out. This will mean, no Down time to drive the car. Fix in your garage in one day. Anyone tried this?
