Model S Refresh: Suma Performance Mirrors

Exactly. Had them on my Model 3 Performance. Huge difference in vision.

Model S Refresh: Suma Performance Mirrors

So unfortunately, Tesla redesigned the mirrors on the Model S refresh. The current Model S Suma Performance mirrors will not fit the Model S Plaid / Long Range. Figured I'd post and let others know. Owner was super nice and allowed me to return the mirrors.

Rotor Retention Bolt (Aftermarket Wheel Install)

Pretty sure it's mandatory for the Performance Model 3. Took mine off and went for a test drive, car was making a CLUNK every rotation of the wheel. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but that was my experience. The wheels without the bolts are loose and can be rotated, which obviously...

M3P hesitates with new rims in 1/4 mile run

Had something similar happen to me as well. Ran 245/35/18s and sometimes the traction control would limit power. Wheel is spinning much faster than design so it thinks the tire is breaking loose. Unfortunately I don't think it can be fixed until Tesla gives customers the option to set tire...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

Of course. Tires will vary by brand, so look up the specs on the specific tire you want to have on your ride. OEM is 235/45/18. I think meaty tires look amazing. Have fun!

18x8.5" Martian Wheels w/ 255/45/18 PS4S tires. Ride is noticeably smoother w/ larger side walls.

Replaced Air Filters, still musty/old smelling.

No issue at all. Musty smell is gone and I'd say they work better than OEM. The installation was actually pretty simple.

Try running the heater on HI for around 20 minutes. I'd also buy another can of foam and try again. I use the spearhead filters for my Model 3. I think they work much better than OEM. Here is the link if you're interested: https://amzn.to/3lHDzOG Let me know how running the heater on HI works.

    P+ Horrible 0-60 times

Had 3.6s 0-60 times w/ my Stock 20" Wheels & Tires. Upgraded to Martian 18x8.5 Wheels w/ 245/35ZR-18 Tires. 0-60 times are now 3.26s w/o Rollout. Lighter wheels, tires and smaller overall diameter had a big impact on acceleration. SoC 91%. Done on a crappy road too. Planning on going with RB...

    Martian Wheels MW03

I received my MW03 18×8.5 yesterday. Everything looks solid, still waiting for my tires to arrive (Monday evening). I decided to go with 245/35ZR-18 Continental ExtremeContact Sport XL tires. Only issue is they weigh 19.1lb per wheel. Advertised weight is 17.9lb. I've contacted Drew about this...

    20" to 18" Wheels

Those MW03 wheels are fantastic. It's a shame more people don't talk about them. Extremely light and look amazing. You probably went from doing a 3.3s with the 20" to 3.0s with the MW03 wheels.
