Tesla designed my 17 kW system with a SE10000H-US and SE7600H-US, so it appears that my inverters were slightly oversized at 17.6 kW for 17 kW worth of panels. Is this going to be a problem? The SE10000H-US will have 28 panels (9.52 kW) The SE7600H-US will have 22 panels (7.48 kW)

I believe you could run into issues with only one Powerwall... if the power goes out and you are producing more power than the Powerwall can handle, everything shuts down. I would definitely go with two and consider three, especially if you need to run an A/C. And it will be more expensive for...

Where in Florida are you located? What is the wind speed rating (V-Ult) at your location? I didn’t think Telsa’s solar roof could be installed in Florida due to the wind speed requirements... I thought they only went up to 130 mph or something.

Unless it is a code requirement specific to your city or state, I believe they can get closer that 3 ft. from the edge... at least in Florida you can. My panels are next to the edge. I would get a few more quotes from other installers, or get another advisor.

Your roof is definitely not ideal, and you really do not want north facing panels, but you do have more room. I would inform your advisor of the shading issue and ask them to "max out" roof.

@BrettS it lookslike most of the conduit was ran through the attic. Did you have to pay extra for hidden conduit?

What have your daily production numbers been, in kWH? When do you expect receive your PTO?

I noticed that many of these layouts have panels on the north side of the roof. Isn’t there significantly less production from north facing panels?

Why do they only allow up to 110% of your usage? Is it a code or just your utility company's policy? I'm hoping to install a system 20% larger than my current use, to account for an upcoming EV purchase (20,000 miles/year), large reef aquarium, and garage freezer.
