Would great for this probe to end. We’re ready for trading to resume. Random leak? Insider trading? Potentially messy.

PLL.AX, still no activity @ 1730 pdt. BTW, congrats to Piedmont for locking in the Tesla deal. Lots of fun work ahead for them.

"#BatteryDay abundant clay narrative a negotiating tactic ahead of year end price talks." I do agree, given my distant observations of Elon's sense of 'humor' ( /s ). This would answer a lot of questions behind what otherwise seem like befuddling Elon comments.

    The Resource Angle

Nice! I think this now most definitely warrants a new thread focused on Piedmont Lithim, PLL, alone. Orders placed, in waiting for when trading resumes.

Yes, and many short term’ers that need/want instant gratification. Product of the times, perhaps? Financial ADD?

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Some people looking Gift Horses in the mouth. Tesla lays out the business plan and road map years in advance. Few companies do this to nearly the same extent. For those that understand this, this is an invitation for the type of shareholders that are willing to support that vision, and take the...

    All discussion of Nikola Motors

Turns out the Managing Partner at VectoIQ, Stephen Girsky, is a former GM Board of Director and Chairman. A little more digging uncovered other GM ties for himself and other VectoIQ investors. As they say, follow the money. https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephen-girsky-591b1513/

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Well, you’re right. It does seem like a slap on the back of the hand, all things considered. In an ideal world, prison time for all involved and fines/penalties for the company to go bankrupt would be awesome. But, that’s not what happened. I take the outcome as just that. The...

Great when justice is served to the cheats. It could be more, but it’s an encouraging outcome. Needs to hit/hurt their bottom line more. Now, they need to get to work.

Kiva [Micro-lending to the less fortunate] [TMC Team?]

I happened to be on Kiva today, and was pleasantly surprised to stumble on there being a Tesla Enthusiasts team. So, here I am. Nice to find this group of like-minded.

Months later, this analyst holds steady on his $79 PT and Buy rating. It was reiterated just two days ago. However, according to TipRanks, his average returns are less than ... positive. Buy, Buy, Buy ?!

    All discussion of Nikola Motors

What is known about VectoIQ Acquisition? Who were the investors? Makes you wonder what type of due diligence was done prior to their selection of Nicola for the reverse merger. Were they just interested in the quick pump and dump ... quick buck?

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Why Tesla Has NOT Been Added to the S&P 500 (Ep. 115) I agree with Dave's take that Tesla's non-inclusion shows the bias and/or skepticism by the committee, as Establishment, towards Innovators/Distruptors, for which the goal post gets moved.

Supercharger - Irvine, CA - Walnut Ave. (at Jeffrey Rd., LIVE 4 Dec 2020, 8 V3 stalls)

Being that 5406 Walnut Ave, #A and #C, include the two Asian restaurants in the east corner of the strip mall, I figured the chargers might be placed in those dozen or so parking spaces that face Jeffrey by the 5 Fwy. And, sure enough, staging has started at that very corner. Progress...

Supercharging free forever or not? (Out of main)

And considering Context, as someone had rightfully mentioned above, during the earlier days of Model S and the days of free-supercharging, Tesla/Elon didn’t even know if the company would survive beyond those early-S days ... to see Model X, let alone to make it to Model 3. Yup, Elon is...

I couldn’t agree with this more. Also, I cannot wait until the Changing of the Guards. Thankfully, it has begun. Elon’s at the leading edge of that change. I hope/expect to be here when it all comes down.

Coming late to thread, but adding my experience since there might be some in SoCal that are still waiting .... I scheduled for a mobile service thru the app. on a Sunday. Got a slot 2 days later. Appt was confirmed minutes later. Received ‘invoice’ next day. Mobile tech arrived early day of...

More potential candidates for a TSLAholics Anonymous? I don’t really need anymore chairs, but I find deep dips a bit irresistible. Never let a good dip go by ... without a buy.

Oof. Yes, you’re right. Very many variables. Depends on your circumstances. To clarify I was speaking for my own situation and circumstance. Like buying a car, in a loose analogy. I intentionally went from top of line (employer paid) to mid-model, as we are low users. $1k, early 50s, 2 deps...

And lucky you to be posed with that concern. Surprisingly it’s not as difficult nor expensive as many are led to believe. Costs obviously increase with age. Bright side is that with 8-12 hrs/day back in your control, you have more time to devote to focus on physical and mental health, stress...

Sounds like you got it! Life-Energy-Money-Time balance and trade-offs. Money is just a means to an end. And then what? Many here are at or near that point and get to answer that question. Yeah, “Millionaire” makes for a catchy title. Everyone’s $ number is different. That’s why there are...

Ford seals its fate .... its business plan in ironic contrast to Tesla. ‘No advantage’ to having battery plant, Ford says A Trefis analysis from January concluded that Tesla’s Gigafactory is paying dividends. The study, published in Forbes, estimated the automaker’s battery costs fell 45...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Correct ... on ARK not including TE. Their $3400 is there. I excluded their often-quoted $7k bc it does consider some autonomous. And it was not an actual scenario price target but rather an ‘expected value’ between two extreme-ish bull and bear scenarios. Also, autonomous would be considered...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Exactly. None of the recent bullish projections do (not the $1900, $2200, $2450, $3400, $3442 ... ARK’s intentionally excluded). And that makes these all the more compelling and exciting for bulls. A big chunk of future revenue is not even being accounted for. So much more room to run for the SP...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

My read on @UnknownSoldier’s post was different ... that _despite_ the shorts, even the firmly implanted ‘permanent’ shorts, TSLA will continue to be driven upwards (not plummet) for all the bullish reasons previously/widely discussed here.

Greg from TeslaFanInsight YT channel has some comments on split and post-split expectations. I’ve read opposing views in both direction and in scale. So, we shall see when we see it. Either way, it’ll be fun to watch. As a HODLer, I’m prepared to buy or sell if the opportunity/need arises.

Ditto. Each reference to “electronic” vehicles was cringy. There seems to be an “electronic vehicles” club, of sorts. I look forward to the follow-up video, if Trainer accepts Rob’s offer. As it was, Rob was able to open his eyes to many important Tesla facts/details that he ‘overlooked’ for...
