We followed up and our hotel has been confirmed but, for some reason, we never received the e-mail. They sent another copy so all is well.

There is a long waitlist of people ahead of that will eagerly grab that vacant spot. You can add yourself to the bottom of the waitlist but chances are beyond slim at this point.

I completely agree. Ours was recently installed, yet to be used since our car doesn't arrive until tomorrow. I could have lived with a non-HPWC work around had I known that there would it would be a hardware replacement. Why did they continue shipping them out as recently as a couple of weeks...
