I was assigned a vin number on Sunday night September 6, 2020. No official notification of delivery date yet. Car is still in California. Car had just come out of production.

I have Y order. Waiting for vin#. My X lease has 50 days left. I have scheduled final lease payment. My buyout price is $57,288 plus sales tax. I was wondering if anyone on line has an interest in the vehicle. Car has slightly under 30,000 miles. It is a 2017.

Do not fully understand the vin number system. When I get a vin number, I want to be sure it is recently manufactured vehicle because of quality control. Thanks in advance for help.

Has anyone looked whatever info is available on this vehicle. Any thoughts?

I have a model X 2017. Have order in for Y. Anyone have any thoughts who have experience with both models. I would get another X if there were a lot of negatives to Y when comparing. Thanks for any helpful thoughts.
