Realistic sale price 2017 Model 3? 17k miles

Realistically, what would a fair price be for my 2017 Model 3 with 17 miles? White w/aero wheels VIN 0015XX Build date 2017 or 2018 (door sticker says 2018 build, registered as 2017) Long range RWD EAP and FSD enabled No dents or dings. Some road rash on wheels, as seems to be the case with...

When you want to sell a Model S to buy a second Model 3 ...

When you want to sell Model S to buy a Model 3 you know Tesla has designed a real winner! I love the S and yes the Model 3 has a few issues like the phone as key connectivity problem, however, the 3 is way more fun to drive. More comfortable too! No doubt Tesla will iron out the small(ish)...

Simple yes or no, would you like a key fob for your Model 3? Side question: possible to manufacture an aftermarket fob?

Rear window tint - anyone done it?

Had the side windows tinted today however the back window extends over the roof and has factory tint above. Will tinting the entire surface make the rear glass roof too dark? Anyone tint the rear window yet? Pictures, comments, suggestions all welcome.

    Smart Preconditioning - energy usage?

Didn't realize how nice smart preconditioning was until it was turned off to save energy while parked during a recent trip. I forgot to turn in on afterwards and wow there is a noticeable difference getting into a preconditioned car. Anyway, I just turned it back on - yay! - and got to wondering...

Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel [charging options]

I have been to Tahoe several times, always staying in North Shore and charging at a condo or destination charger w/o incident. However, this upcoming weekend I made a reservation at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel in South Lake, forgetting to check for destination charging. It didn't seem like this...

1969 technology; can we retrieve it?

In 2004 George Bush said we would make it to the moon by 2020 but there has not been much progress. Is it possible to retrieve 1969 technology in order to achieve this goal?

Anyone know of a Vineyard partnership or co-op?

Does anyone know of a small vineyard or winery that is owned by a co-op or partnership? My neighbor is a grape grower who is in his eighties and getting too old to care for the vines. A small group of us gets together around this time every year to make wine with one another and him...

Silly but true, we lost our IPO share price today

It is kind of irrelevant and I'm not exactly sure why this amuses me, but it does. The $24.00 loss in share price today wipes out TSLA's IPO closing price of $23.89 on 6/29/10.

Anyone sold/repurchased (used) similar configuration for tacc/autopilot upgrade?

Unfortunately while our P85 was in for a minor repair I was given a loaner with tacc/autopilot, after getting our car back I find that I miss it and really want this feature. I'm VERY happy with the P85 otherwise and would like to keep it, however it seems that Tesla will not (or cannot) add it...

Should Model 3 be offered as a Series rather than a Model?

Using Ford’s F Series as an example, the truck’s power, suspension and load capabilities are clearly differentiated by the nameplate, F-150, F-250, and F-350. Had Ford not done this, every F series truck would become Model F with either a 150, 250 or 350 badge. Presumably, Model E’s badges...

Poll - Should Gen3 be two separate models?

Would it make sense if Tesla manufactured two Gen3 models not just one single model that can be maxed out? If they manufactured two models, say Model 3 and Model 4, each having slight body panel variations and each with their own signature paint colors. Then, limit the max out options of one...

Noise issues - AC and clunk?

Hello everyone, we have owned a Volt for 2 years now and recently purchased a MS. First, hands down, the Model S is FAR superior to the Volt, or any other vehicle on the road (IMHO); and electric driving is pure awesomeness. That said, there are a two problems, both noise related that the MS has...

Is it possible/oaky to make the cord shorter on the wall connector?

Is it safe to cut the cord on the wall connector? The cord is 25' and 15' longer than I need. It seems safe, but is there a hidden safety issue? Would a shorter cord allow more electricity to flow and possibly overheat the wall unit? Is the longer cord necessary for heat dissipation?

Dogs are better drivers than cats.

Dogs are taller, more intelligent and imo better drivers. If a dog were driving this vehicle there would have been far fewer problems, imho. I had a Tesla," Clooney told the magazine. "I was one of the first cats with a Tesla. I think I was, like, No. 5 on the list. But I'm telling you, I've...

Discussion of statistical analysis of vehicle fires as it relates to Model S

Should TSLA use/steal/borrow the Karma design for Gen III?

Elon has said he does not like the Mexican Bandito front end of the Karma and thinks the car lacks storage space. But lets face it, the Karma is a sweet looking ride and since Henrik Fisker basically designed the Karma as an electric vehicle while taking a salary from Tesla, why not use it...
