Towing in AZ is more like 50-60% hit. I am towing my 1600lb camper from Gilbert to show low (through Payson) this weekend. I tried once just to Payson and got 500-560 wh/mi depending on going up vs coming back.
Lab will be fine in the back of the Y. Get a Y and use a referral code (not yours as you don’t get double the points).
I can fit a 30”x24” wire crate in the back with seats up so without a crate or with a specific SUV crate, there’s plenty of room.
The Y should have come with a pigtail for the trailer hitch, but mine did not. They will order me one. It does come with the box for the model X trailer hitch. It says in the manual that it’s included, but it’s not.
I tinted the windshield but left the roof alone. I worry about changing the roof as other manufacturers have had roofs break because of the tint. At least from Tesla the roof blocks UV whereas the side windows even the back windows do not
That’s what I ended up figuring out. I think it can fit 2-3 different models but without one local I am not willing to order knowing I may have to return.
the 31 and 33 are from seat to glass as the door is curved.
I put a 30x24 sideways and it fit really well not touching the seat or glass...
They didn’t do anything. Just the panel. The guy at the service center just had a screwdriver. I’m going to use plastic or add a knob of some sort with a Tesla badge.
My Y manual shows the hitch on what’s in the car.
3500 lbs on both 19 and 21 tires and like 2900 on 20”
supposed to come with pigtail for brake controller.
turns off rear sensors and auto steer capability.
