I was at Tesla Heathrow yesterday for my "post collection" service (i.e. address the snag list!). The place was RAMMED with transporters and new cars. There must have been 6 transporters there with Model 3's plus a car park full of new M3s waiting for owners. Good luck to those collecting...

I ordered these too, but sent them back as I felt it wasn't the best fit and IMHO looked wrong in the car. Now looking at vinyl options.

@rockafunked here’s the dechrome, ceramic coating and tinted windows by Concours Detailing in Aldermaston. Can highly recommend Bradley, gave me a brief inspection report and got all the work done with no fuss.

Haven’t got the car back yet, so wouldn’t want to recommend him just yet. I think he is also on the expensive side from what I’m hearing. 750 for a complete detail, 280 for dechrome, 250 for rear window tint, then add VAT. Will post pics on Sat, check back then.

Crazy cheap! I was quoted £540 just for the dechrome from another local place.

£750 for complete detailing, paint correction and ceramic coating £250 Dechrome £280 Window Tints

Haven't had it done yet (It goes in the same day i pick up the car :) ) but they said it would cover the entire rear panel (and side windows). They recommended a 20% tint, which is standard on vehicles such as BMW etc. Would be interested to know what PP Protect do with regards to this.

They didn’t give any details on the damage. I noticed the VIN had changed so they are giving me a different vehicle (apparently). Speaking to Tesla on the phone they confirmed that everything has been switched over to the new VIN including the reg. I will be super vigilant picking up this car...

Unbelievable... Tesla just informed me that my car has been damaged during transit and I can no longer pick it up on Thurs. Apparently there is an identical car available next week. Hmmmm... Anyone else had same?
