It does. It also showed solar production when they(installers) had the temporary meter head while commissioning the Gateway & Powerwalls.

Just thought of this, but I’ve also heard of people having to contact Tesla after PTO to get the app to work correctly, possibly something they need to activate or sync on their end.

The 2nd meter is a requirement of the CGS+ program. Casper did you get your solar reporting in the app yet? If not you can download the SolarEdge SetApp and diagnose.

Sorry reading out of order. Both models in question are the H models. Unfortunaly I have zero room for more panels, hence having to downgrade from 8.16kw to 7.14kw due to lack of roof space.

If the QR codes are still scannable you can use the SiteMapper app and scan the QR codes. You'd need to print the image the installer sent you and then scan the QR from within the SiteMapper app. That's how I'm doing my layout. Although my image resolution wasn't an issue. Worth a try at least.

If you request your permit docs/plans it'll contain the model numbers of equipment being used.

Ours was 1 hour give or take, and towards the end of the day, but it will vary depending on amount of work, wiring, and circuits. Better to plan for more than needed.

The delay has been on DPP's end, not so much Tesla's. They submitted the revised plans a day after install. DPP has been dragging their feet reviewing them. But yeah, this could have been avoided by a site inspection by Tesla prior to install, and yeah it sounds like lots of people have issues...

I believe the installers are supposed to take pictures and submit to Tesla during or after install. At least they did during my install. Seems easy enough to get done either way, and no reason why it should take two months to snap some pics. What a *sugar* show.

Congrats on your PTO. My system was just commissioned yesterday after having to replace a faulty TEG-v2(OG install was 2 weeks ago) and I plan on running an “extended off grid test” starting this weekend. Looking forward to seeing the system in action.

As long as the governor doesn’t issue another stay at home order today or tomorrow, I’ll test running off grid prior to PTO after I’m installed on Wednesday. I’ll report back on results.
