I’m very curious to see how well & how quickly those new pre-fab stations go up, but the long pole in the activate the new SC tent seems to always be the utility provided transformer.

I think Elon may be positioning Tesla to be the primary EV charging network for all EV’s around the country which will require many more SC stalls to support the added demand.

Adding FSD no longer affects the delivery date. They took that away a month or so ago. But I just noticed something odd using the configurator; MP’s are now ONLY available in white even though Giga Texas is producing Y’s in all colors now I believe. And MP delivery is currently June-July 22.

Or they will miraculously find a way to increase battery efficiency and unlock incrementally more range via a software update, or two, or three. Just like Tesla has done before.

This is not the correct thread, but I cannot find the Redding, CA listing on the supercharger page even though Redding is still shown on the map. Does anyone know what happened to Redding And/or the current status?

The Yreka supercharger came as a big and unexpected surprise. More choices on I-5 means more flexibility. I was somewhat surprised to also see another Supercharger planned for Olympia considering Tumwater and Lacey are only like 10 miles apart. But more than likely I’ll never use any of those...

I couldn’t agree more regarding using A Better Route Planner (ABRP). We used it last year on a RT from Seattle to Dallas for a wedding and loved it. It’s very accurate and during setup for the route allows you to chose the ARRIVAL SoC which we kept set at 15% for the entire trip, with 10-15%...

We have a 2018 MX and we’re among the first to use the new V3 Supercharger at Red Bluff, CA on 7 December 2019. I was stunned to see we were charging at 180 kw as seen in the pic below.

Elon is brilliant. 650,000 orders x $100 = $65,000,000. So all of us have given him a no interest loan until we cancel our order. A $65,000,000 NO interest loan for a year or two. Crowd sourcing & Go Fund Me at it’s best.

Hi folks. I’m new to post here and have a 2018 MX. My nephew who owns a M3 and lives in Modesto just sent me this photo today showing that the transformer has been installed but no juice yet. I had trouble uploading the photo so it may not show up.
