Anyone want to take a stab at diagnosis? Screens blank, no blinkers, no high beams, but "all else" works...

[Edit: 2017 Model S, FSD and upgraded to MCU2, HW3.0, and the newer cameras] Things that DO work: car runs and drivers, door handles, frunk and trunk open with key fob, interior lights, windows, seat motors (manual only) Things that stopped working suddenly: screens (center and dash) and...

Web browsing faster after update. Why?

Any idea why my browser (MCU2 upgrade, love it) is so much faster after software update, and if there’s a reason is there a way to force that? I know that’s a poorly worded question, but I’ve noticed that as I use the browser (which I do use to control home automation lights, gate, garage, it’s...

New new FSD possible on AP2 cameras and radars?

Originally AP2 vehicle w “FSD” option from the factory (from a time of confusing ap versions and upgrades etc). Eligible for and received the free HW3 upgrade (red lights, pedestrians, etc), MCU2 happening next week. So, what’s the word on whether future “new new” FSD will be functional on cars...

Stuck trunk latch (black plug “fix” not working)

I know this is the same sort of issue that’s been posted here a bunch, and I’ve watched a video about removing the carpet and panel in the back, plugging and unplugging the black plug to make the liftgate open. When I remove and replace the plug there is the click of a small relay energizing...

Who sees street cones in their AP display?

Very late 2016 FSD, MCU1 but with the HW 3.0 upgrade. I’ve got traffic lights, but it would seem that traffic cones have eluded me. Is this a camera limitation? My car is FSD, has the side pillar cameras and the rear facing fender cams...if they matters. Looks like I’m on 2020.36.

Cannot access HomeLink while in Reverse

So, specifically what I mean is that while the backup camera is displayed with the parking sensors (I guess that's the "default" back up view), the camera display now covers the HomeLink buttons. Picture shows what I see when I put it in Reverse. It hasn't always been this way, has it? I...

HW 3.0 Upgrade from 2.0 - very very pleased

Just wanted to pop in to say that if you have not received the 3.0 upgrade yet, it's worth the wait. Dash Cam and Sentry Mode downloads are fun gadgets to have, but the real win comes with the traffic signal awareness. So incredible. Today, driving along on AP, tapped the accelerator to go...

Tesla App eligible upgrades says FSD...but I have that...I think?

Starters: got my vehicle in late December 2019 used from Tesla. Vehicle details: late 2016 build 75D, HW2.0, MCU 1. When I was shopping on Tesla used site the vehicle details said "Full Self Driving Capability". On the "window sticker" it said the same thing. I knew that, based on the build...
